Videogame prices have always been high relative to their time. Corporations have just got greedier so it's harder to afford them like we used to. Can't buy a $70 game all willy nilly when rent and food keeps going up while wages don't.

Unless you rush them out the door, which results in a buggy mess, video games takes years to make.

I remember these commercials. In hindsight, all these Got Milk commercials ended up really raising awareness of lactose intolerance.
