No. Stopped going due to all the bs politics. Yup, they do exist in Churches. Maybe it's a Korean church thing, idk. But you always find people looking to chase a Preacher, or some office person out of there because they don't like them, and take their spot, or find someone they like to take their spot. Alot of Doctors, and business people go there too, not to worship, but to find new clients. All bs.

What do you mean by Church? do you mean the Holy Catholic Church?
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.

I never got anything out of it as a kid lol.

My biggest takeaway was we already have to sit in school all week, now theres another thing we have to do on the weekend? or during the week, too, if you had to go to CCD during the week instead of Sunday.

I'm a touch konflicted. I've got no love for God or the service of him, but a lot of the church people I grew up with are like extended family. Lots of good people and good times. Looking forward to flying back home and seeing some of them again for the first time in over a decade, but I was already an odd 1 out back then. I'd imagine my new stance on God will only make us that much more unrelatable and sour the mood.

Every church I've been to in the past decade have worship bands playing unnecessary praise music. What would be a 45 minute service drags out to an hour+. Plus the songs might as well be dirges.

I like it when my wife goes to church, because I wait in a bar across the street and get two beers and a chicken sandwich.

I remember school forcing us into church every year around christmas.. and god i always hated that. Sooooo fucking boring.

The past couple times ive been in a church have been for funerals, which... is uhm, different. not been to any weddings yet.

Hell no, maybe it was da house of God in da very beginning but nowadays its been corrupted by evil

They recently opened up a Church's Chicken diner near me. Haven't been yet.

It can be quite entertaining in a Black south church. Almost like a concert at times.

I meant any church you've ever been to or attended.

I enjoyed the speakings (idk the correct term and if the term varies by type of church) at some of the funerary or remembrance gatherings I've attended. I never attended a church without such a scenario in place, so I can't speak for what might be "normal" services.

No. The last time I was in one was to see a Bible School presentation, and I went for the cookout afterward. It felt like watching brainwashing in real time and made me sick.

I like the architecture and history behind some of the grander churches. I hate the institution.

Grew up having to go to Catholic church, then for a bit a Baptist, which was quite different. Stopped when I hit 12 or so.

Long winded answer aside, no, it's not for me, or any of that stuff really. My mom likes hers though so that's cool I guess
