To be fair, I felt like he was portrayed this way in the movie, too. The movie just happened to be a "His pro-Kahndaq motivations happen to align" kind of situation, but I also atleast felt it sorta implied this could lead to him being a "villain" later, too.

I'm sure a sequel could've answered that, but alas, the DC cinematic universe is getting a reset.

I guess TC means a show/movie where the protagonist is a villain who gets away with everything? Eh, that's not really fun to watch imo.

That list is of villain protagonists over the course of many many years. For one story of a villain protagonist, you have at least twenty of a story with a hero protagonist, and a dozen with an anti-hero.

I was referring to the Black Adam movie. At least with the comics it was a transition.

The Homelander thing struck me as really odd, since the whole point of The Boys, was that superheroes aren't really the heroes we thought them to be. Homelander being evil wasn't even subtle.

Perhaps, but there is enough of an audience for it. Anime has quite a few villain protagonists.

The rest of the English translation to Villainous is in limbo. Carmen Sandiego was watered down in the Netflix adaptation. And Black Adam/Morbius/Kraven were turned into anti-heroes. Even in the old days, shows and movies in American studios that featured a villain protagonist was pretty rare.

This hasn't happened to me, but I feel like I'm the lucky one out. Seems like every guy has a story with this.

We do, but the important thing to remember is that it's a case by case basis. I've had women who do what Shaq describes, but I've also had some that do the complete opposite. It's like a cashier dealing with customers. They've had plenty of good ones, but they usually only remember the bad ones.

This was true some time ago, but times are changing. Slowly, but there's been improvements. That said, I'm not going to let a good joke slide by.
