Having played Strange Journey, it'll be 100% fine if that happens since the DS lets you have a minimap on the bottom screen.

Ugh, Horseback Ganon and really just the horseback combat in general was awful in TP, I had no idea people actually enjoyed that stuff.

Also I just remembered what Super Mario 3D Land's final fight was and yeah, it was pretty spectacular.
NSMBW also had a pretty amazing final boss, but maybe that's just because I was playing it with a friend and hilarity ensued.

Skyward Sword's final boss fight was pretty cool, I thought, though yes I would give the edge to Wind Waker.

I guess you might count the Earthbound/Mother 3 final bosses, Gigyas and Masked Man/Claus, but those might not be considered final fights since they're scripted

Of what I've played of the series: Persona >>>>> Devil Survivor >> DDS > Nocturne/SJ. I need to play the Devil Summoner games still. Nothing's topping Persona for me out of the SMT stuff though.

Yeah I think Persona's the best subseries as well but I don't think the gap is nearly as big between the series. Devil Summoner, at least the PS2 games, are the weakest link although they're still alright games to play.

I need to get around to beating the DDS games. :\

Awww yeah. I did think Strange Journey was SMT4 for reals though. Now it's just some random game, I guess.

I still want to see an HD SMT game on a current-gen console, though! Persona 5, Devil Summoner 3, anything will do, Atlus!

Oh thank god it looks like a patch came out. The expansion is buggy as s***.

I was watching my friend play and he bombed a rock and out came an epileptic, invulnerable Isaac with a halo and giant sphere of light around him riding A PONY and it just spazzed the hell out around the room.

It was.......kind of glorious.

On one of my runs, the Devil Rooms were replaced with chapel-looking rooms and there was an "angel" that gave me free items instead. They were pretty good, too.

I want to get this but I don't even think I got 50% completion on the base game. Haven't even unlocked the true boss of The Womb yet. So, do you need the original ten endings to get the new content?

Still I booted it up earlier to run through with Judas, the last character I had to beat the game with, and had a blast. I got Everything Is Terrible, too.

Nah, both Jane and Jade are pretty boring as characters. They are pretty important/interesting from a plot perspective though, so that's why they're around.

John should also be boring but is amazing instead, for some reason.

Yeah I think at this point, with the director gone and most of the writing team as well (how many are left? 2 or 3?), the cast is almost the only thing keeping the show from still being Community. If any of the main cast leave the show is finished (aside from maaaaybe Chevy Chase).

It would make no sense if it was 'the same frog'. None at all.

The biggest inconsistency would be the cross-universe communication between B1 and B2, but everything else about it makes sense.

I mean, The Scratch was always explained as causing a hard reset of the universe, not creating another one. This is even more true now that we know it works by retroactively changing where the meteors landed on Earth.

Just caught up on Red Lanterns, which I've pretty much been ignoring ever since it came out. It's....not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Pretty decent, actually! Although it is "Bleez's Ass: The Ongoing Series!" but that much I did expect. Now for nine issues each of GLC and New Guardians, because it's been too long since I've read either of those at all. <_<

Batman Incorporated. was okay. Not as good as I was expecting, but I was super hyped for it (I didn't cry at all, YOU LIED TO ME MORRISON!). This is going to be something that's a lot better in trade form, but Morrison stuff usually ends up that way. also, ick, waaaay too much gratuitous blood

and yes I just got done reading nine issues of red f***ing lanterns and i am saying ONE ISSUE of batman had more gratuitous usage of blood
