From: SemiFinal vs Belarus | #487 couldn't red miles just be jumping through the skaian defense grid portals i mean that what i thought initially
(like the 'it's jack's red miles' theory better though)
That's what I thought at first too, since there does appear to be a circle around where Red Miles appears. It could be either one. I know The Reckoning doesn't happen for the B2 kids, but obviously the Exiles have to have been able to enter Earth somehow.
Still I think the Jack theory is more likely? I've just assumed that the B1 and B2 universes are "the same" frog (just reset) since the start, which means that the B2 universe is also slated for destruction by Jack. Didn't connect that to this panel immediately, but it could be the case. I really want to know how Jake's Sendifyer or whatever works, since it can still contact the old universe somehow, hinting that maybe they're not the same.
Also I can get aboard the uu love train now, I suppose. And knock Dirk a few spots up, too, while I'm at it.
From: blindhobo13 | #001 I think I would have enjoyed it more if I stopped freaking out about every single decision and trying to think of ways I could possibly be screwed over by. Also I can't say I'm a huge fan of morality being tied to conversation options. The biggest draw for the series when I first heard about it was that it was more open-ended and flexible with your decisions but since you pretty much "had to" stick with one path, I still felt a little forced into some of the decisions because I was worrying about if I could pass the checks or not.
Mass Effect 3 is a lot better about this since it takes your total amount of reputation into account, but I was able to play ME1 and ME2 as a mixture of Paragon and Renegade. In ME1 I missed out on the final option with Saren, but no big deal. In ME2 I was able to make all of the decisions I wanted to (including passing the two loyalty checks), thanks to the perk that increases your Paragon/Renegade points. That helps a LOT. Paragade forever.
Samara - I ended up killing her so I can't really comment. >_> I didn't really want to though...
Did you need to pass Paragon/Renegade checks for this one? I can't remember, but I didn't think you had to.
From: Ed Bellis | #448 It's not particularly important. It just means he had an extra extra life, which came in handy after he got the meteor to the Green Sun.
Nah, that one was presumably killed by Jack when he blew everything up.
I don't think Sollux being 'half-dead' was ever explained outside of duality shenanigans.
From: mnkboy907 | #445 How did the trolls' battlefield evolve with 12 prototypings? I don't remember that either.
It never came up in Hivebent, so we don't know.
A book in [S] Seer: Descend talks about the weird multidimensional shapes that Skaia would have to take on. I think this is the same book that talks about theoretically adding prototyping orbs to the ring. So presumably the troll's battlefield looked really crazy?
Thinking of what Sburb would do in the case of one body acting as two "people" is kind of confusing. Do they only enter once, or twice somehow? So do they share a planet and title? What happens if one of their dreamselves die, or the main body, for that matter? And of course, would their Skaia even work with only two (possibly one) prototyping?
From: Liwakip | #008 - Jeph Loeb is definitely one of the main guys who is pushing for the tone of the show. According to Agent X, Jeph wants Marvel Cartoons to prepare the youglings to be future Marvel comics fans, and he insisted on having all the Marvel cartons (Ultimate Spider-man, Hulk agents of SMASH, and the second half season of Avengers EMH) with no over reaching story, no 2 or 3 episodes parters, and no continuity.
It's funny because this is the exact opposite of what comics are.
From: mnkboy907 | #040 Especially in topics that aren't about anything in particular. If you're entering a FFVII topic and someone spoils something related to the game, then that's one thing. But if you're entering a topic about Chinese food and someone spoils something from FFVII without mentioning it, how are you supposed to know not to look at it? It's not a spoiler warning at all, it's just a block of black highlighted text.
But how often do you really think this is going to happen?
I mean, even /v/ has more sense than this with their spoiler tags.
<p>From: _Regaro_ | #009 From: HeroDelTiempo17 | Posted: 5/21/2012 5:52:39 PM | #007 Man, people will complain about anything. I mean do we really want to go back to *SPOILERS*
Message Detail Spoilers, man. Message Detail.</p> They were ok but it was still bad how we had to exploit the system like that!
Give it some time and I'm sure that most spoilers are going to be obvious what they're spoiling from context and people warning. Right now there are just a bunch of people putting completely random things inside of the tags because this whole thing has been long overdue.
<p>From: The Mana Sword | #025 Awakening isn't the hardest to my knowledge. I mean, it CAN be the hardest, but it also has noob mode aka no permadeath</p> "Oh this game isn't hard at all since you can play on Easy Mode"
<p>From: AppIekidjosh | #030 <p>From: ShadowHalo17 | #028 And you have all reports throughout your three save files?</p> wait
seriously? I thought you just needed all 12 to show up in the Trinity Archives report viewer</p> That's what he means, I think. IIRC it's literally impossible for any one character to get all the reports.
I've only done Naoya's (on vanilla) and Gin's (on Overclocked) routes in Devil Survivor, and yeah the boss fights are pretty crazy on NG. Having an entire second playthrough to prepare for the endgame, removing the level cap on fusion and all would probably help a lot.
Overall Devil Survivor is easier than P4, but good lord the amount of bulls*** the bosses can do is waaaay out of P4's league, barring the optional boss. Can't speak for DeSu2.
Of course not. But Persona 4 isn't even the most difficult SMT game.
Anyways, level grinding will only get you so far. You need to fuse a better Persona to use. If you can get one with Media then you're probably in business.
And honestly? Shadow Yukiko is one of the hardest bosses in the game just due to the power spike, only having three party members, and Chie's weakness to fire. Have her guard often.
<p>From: Metal_DK | #089 I do feel there is a market for 90s CN. People in their early to late 20s still watch cartoons. I'd like to see boomerang go back to strictly the baby boomer cartoons and then have a generation y cn channel or something.</p> CN is already doing pretty well in that aspect. Adventure Time and Regular Show are big hits with that same 90s target audience, and they also have that Friday hour-long block of 90s and early 2000s cartoons.
Really the biggest thing about Toonami coming back is just knowing that the network is listening to their audience. Only thing to do now is hope it does well enough to get more funding so that new Toonami can get even better.
edit: damn that quote is ugly. gamefox is all kinds of broken right now
<p>From: TheCodeisBosco | #025 I'm surprised more people don't rank Britta last. I like her, but she seems like the weakest main character by a decent margin.</p> That's because Britta is awesome.
We did have a lot of Britta haters but I think most people warmed up to her in the third season if they hadn't already.
From: mnkboy907 | #402 I thought Meenah and Aranea were pre-scratch, and Karkat and them all were post-scratch. That it went like Aranea's universe -> Karkat's universe -> John's universe -> Jane's universe.
For the trolls, are there different blood colors besides the ones that the trolls in the comic have, or are those all/most of the blood colors?
All of the troll races blood colors are accounted for by characters in the comic, except for one.
The place on the spectrum where Karkats slot would be is a shade of green between Nepetas and Solluxs. Lime bloods.
I thought he was just saying "if Karkat was lime then we'd have the full range of normal colors." I don't think you can assume anything else until it's brought up in the story.
From: mnkboy907 | #387 When were the new denizens shown/mentioned?
Each kid has a different web browser, and I think it's shown each of their desktops at some point, letting us know what their Denizens' names are. We knew about Hephaestus and Echidna that way loooong before they were relevant in-comic, for example.
