I don't what Wada is saying. There have been at least 4 FF games after FFVII and 2 before that were far better than it. Just sort of seems like he's using it as an excuse to say "We're never remaking it so please quit bugging us." to me.

I'm far from the board's biggest fan as far as Pokemon battle knowledge is concerned (although I was pretty damn good back in 2005) but didn't Flareon get a decent boost in usability back when fourth-gen introduced the Attack/Special Attack-based individual moves? I seem to recall that people's biggest gripe with it back in the day was how it had an impressive Attack stat but it was a Fire type so it 'needed' Special Attack, which it lacked. But now there are a bunch of Attack-based Fire-type moves...

Or does its movepool/other stats still really suck?

I think people complained because it didn't get the one fire move it really needed aka Flare Blitz. I think all it got was Fire Fang.

I see. I don't think I saw a post-game mention for Chingling on serebii, but maybe I missed it. The enemies are getting more evolved Pokemon for me right now. I shouldn't have any problem with Nixtorm or Valora, but I don't think I have anything with Dark type attacks at all right now so Spectra might be a bit more challenging.

It was low in popularity, but still selling well enough to where nobody thought it would be canceled. I think it still does better than all the new series as well as Medaka Box as far as sales go.

I see. I actually don't know how much of the original season I've seen since it was on tv a long time ago. It'll be a lot of watching if you keep with it since I think it's like 700 episodes long now.

No surprise Naruto is on the way to the ending. People have been saying that since before this arc started. It'll be interesting to see if it has any impact on WSJ and stuff since it's such a popular title. It'll be even bigger than FMA ending.

I forgot to include FF4. I got so bored of 2 & 3DS I haven't even bothered to finish them. Just not interested in them at all, but I tend to feel that way about really early RPGs like that.

I've only been bored during a couple RPGs so far. Whenever I start playing something I usually play it most of the day. RPGs where I was bored: FFII, FFIII DS, FFVII, FFXII and Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World.
