I bet Cheren will have Eevee and/or Lillipup to go with his Patrat. Eevee is probably the most popular/likely normal non-B/W Pokemon for him to have anyways.

I also hope Homika won't use Koffing because it's boring seeing the gym leaders of types use the same Pokemon. I know Poison doesn't have a lot to offer, but I hope she has something like Venipede or Whirlipede, Croagunk and Trubbish or Tentacool.

I don't think I used any of the Eevee evolutions either. I think B/W is the first time I actually used a lot of the Pokemon in a gen.

I don't think I've used a Growlithe despite playing since the first gen. Out of those few early ones it's the only Pokemon I would want on my team.

Some Pokemon you can find before the 2nd gym: Pidove, Magby/Elekid (depending on the game version), Growlithe, Audino, Magnemite and Koffing. Not too bad I guess, but Magby/Elekid are annoying to evolve both times and Pidove is awful unless it gets changes.

Couple bad losses and some matches that shouldn't have been that close. Laharl was so close. Poor Shadow Bombplex is packed with amazing characters who likely won't win a single match due to bad taste.

You can always see what route a Pokemon appears on in the Pokedex. Now you can go to a route with it and it tells you all of the Pokemon that show up on that route. It's more convenient.

I can't blame anybody for dumping Snivy to be honest. Serperior is just so bad even for in-game use. It's the only starter I have ever boxed.

Pokedex in B/W2 lets you know which Pokemon you can catch on which routes. It's about time they added that feature to it.

Once you finish P3P and Devil Survivor 2 you should play Digital Devil Saga 1&2 and Nocturne. Don't know after that since my P1 copy quit working and it wasn't very fun anyways. I couldn't get into Strange Journey at all and I haven't gotten around to playing Devil Summoner 1&2 yet. My DS2 is still in the box with the Raihou plush.

I wanted to check out one of the other Batgirls, but the 1st trade of the Cassandra Cain one is really expensive it seems. It's expensive on amazon at the very least. I could get it a lot cheaper than that if my shop can order one assuming it's still in print.

I'd have to strongly disagree, but to each his/her own. It is really weird your save file disappeared though. I knew it had issues with some PS2 games even on a PS2 BC PS3, but I didn't know PS3s could have similar problems with PS1 games too. It's making me think whenever I get around to replaying Legend of Dragoon and FF8 I should just do it on my PS2.

Move Yuffie to the top 3 and you'll have the only good characters at the top. It's weird that your save file vanished though. Were you playing on a PS3? I thought they were supposed to be perfectly fine for PS1 BC.

Assuming the starters are identical in B/W2 with no changes to the moves they learn or anything I'd go with Tepig and Oshawott again.
