One fell out of my ear when I looked in the bathroom mirror, bounced on the counter and dropped into the toilet. It was in there for a few seconds as it was slippery as hell. I wiped it down with a paper towel, wiped around it with a Q-Tip and then cleaned/sterilized it with another Q-Tip with isopropyl alcohol.could you get them replaced, still within time period? they were super nice earbuds? yeah heard of people dropping phones into toilet. Never have
Even though they're water/sweat resistant you can't obviously submerge them.
There are reasons why you put the seat down (besides not annoying the wife).I think having the right sized ear tips help with that. My ONLY issue with wireless buds is the delay. It's ok for some things, but annoying in others like gaming.
I've tried earbuds, but can't get along with them. A pain to put in, and quickly become uncomfortable.

wireless headphones don't do this better either?I don't think I've noticed a delay with wireless headphones actually. If I'm gaming on my PC with a friend, I'll use wireless headphones. I only ever use buds for gaming extremely rarely. Like a couple times I was playing the Switch in bed but opted for wired buds after a while.

maybe there's some way they won't know it was water. How much were they anyway?$170 though I got them on Target using gift credit I forgot I had.
$170 though I got them on Target using gift credit I forgot I had. What about what i said about water? There's a possibility they wouldn't even know it was water, right? Try to do it through an actual target store, that might be easier.

Or at least they used to before they became water resistant. They probably could tell. But I really doubt his earbud is ruined either way though.

But I really doubt his earbud is ruined either way though.I spent years repairing Apple products and most of their devices have indicators in them which change color when they get damp. I dealt with a customer who (by their spouse's admission after an argument in the store) got drunk and dropped their iPhone in the bath, only to fish it out the morning after. They claimed that they accidentally dropped their phone in the sink when doing the dishes.

And that is reason number 343232 why I have no jumped on the wireless bandwagon. I just know I'd do stuff like that.Being paranoid about that is exactly why I went with earbuds with ear hooks. Helps keep them in my ear much better and I'm not constantly worried about them falling out
And that is reason number 343232 why I have no jumped on the wireless bandwagon. I just know I'd do stuff like that.Wireless buds shouldn't be that loose in the first place tbh. Both my current and previous earbuds were solid enough that I could exercise in them despite not having anything beyond the tips to secure themselves. I'd probably get brain damage before those things came loose.
Damn that sucks. Hopefully it still works after the internals fully dry out.Lots , most guys have problems with them falling out? Never did

Keep your toilet lid closed.
TC, The lady at Target customer service is not going break out a repair kit to see if there is water damage on a $170 pair of earbuds lol. Just return them and pick up another pair.He already did in the post above yours

Update: Was a win-win-win. They were going to replace them but they didn't have the exact color, so I ended up getting a refund and got the 90s throwback transparent color model for a lot cheaper as they just went on sale.how much was that one? has anc? heard others say anc is overrated

how much was that one? has anc? heard others say anc is overrated$130. They usually go for $170. They're basically (slightly) higher-quality AirPod Pro's but with longer battery life. They have ANC and transparency mode and all of the iOS integration features while also having much better Android integration than other brands.

Does beats earbuds work with android? Yeah thought the apple airpods might be even a little better than beats...guess not
Kind of crazy how since it's an Apple brand, they're basically selling their best earbuds for a lot cheaper than their flagship model.
Kind of crazy how since it's an Apple brand, they're basically selling their best earbuds for a lot cheaper than their flagship model. This is a case where Apple just outright bought one of their competitors. Beats weren't originally an apple brand, so they've mostly kept it separate from airpods. Plenty of people still buy airpods so it's win win for Apple
but you have an iphone right? heard it makes no sense to even get airpods if you have android. Does beats earbuds work with android? Yeah thought the apple airpods might be even a little better than beats...guess notAirPods are only really worth it if you're in the Apple ecosystem. They're not bad earbuds but their feature set is gimped if you use them on Android devices. There are equivalents like Pixel/Galaxy buds if you have a Google or Samsung phone. AirPods aren't bad but the big draw is having a shitload of really convenient features that only work on iOS.

Prob apple is disappointed in how many of those are selling
That said, these Beats buds are a lot easier to use on Android than other brands as there's widgets and an app for them.
$130. They usually go for $170.I think I paid $15 at a Five Below or Ollie's for some generic ones.
I think I paid $15 at a Five Below or Ollie's for some generic ones.tried some 15 buck no name ones. Were terrible. Try these brands called tozo from amazon. Great value and aren't terrible like all the 15 buck ones.
The radios are kinda weak when moving around, but the sound quality is decent and I'm only out that $15 when they drop in the toilet or get eaten by some animal.
