What about what i said about water? There's a possibility they wouldn't even know it was water, right? Try to do it through an actual target store, that might be easier.I don't know about earbuds, but things like cellphones usually have this water sticker thing that changes colors if it gets wet. Or at least they used to before they became water resistant. They probably could tell. But I really doubt his earbud is ruined either way though.
