I spent years repairing Apple products and most of their devices have indicators in them which change color when they get damp. I dealt with a customer who (by their spouse's admission after an argument in the store) got drunk and dropped their iPhone in the bath, only to fish it out the morning after. They claimed that they accidentally dropped their phone in the sink when doing the dishes.
so you couldn't give them a new one? dropped it in sink , either one doesn't really matter right, neither would be covered?
