I'm not convinced that movie had any redeeming qualities.

Gummo. I watched it once, and barely got through it. Never again.

I don't remember the title. It was a claymation short about a guy somewhere in Asia that unsealed some kind of evil cave or something to use the cloth barrier as a bandage, and a demon or something got loose and killed everyone and morphed their bodies into horrible shapes and stuff.

I don't get creeped out easily, but that one really bothered me.

Human Centipede probably

I didn't think I'd have one, but maybe...
One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island.

It starts off as normal One Piece fare, and then... goes somewhere else entirely. Some horrorifyingly weird stuff going on in that movie.

Human Centipede is not that gross. Its kind of like Saw in that it has a shocking premise but then is kind of a more interesting genre flick than you expect.

now, Human Centipede 2 was exactly the disgusting movie you expected to see from the first one, and then I didnt see 3

The Coffee Table is pretty fucked up in its own right.

Cannibal Holocaust

There was one movie I watched as a kid called The Cell. Only reason I started watching it was because the box said it had nudity and sexual content. Kid me was all about that.

Watched about 30ish minutes and had to stop at one scene where a live horse was mutilated in a pretty horrific manner. I also had to stop eating peanut butter crunch cereal because I was eating it at the time and it grossed me out so bad.

A Serbian Film. I'd be surprised if any other movie in this topic actually beats it.

Someone already mentioned The Girl Next Door, and yeah, that would have to be it for me. The fact that it was based on a true story makes it all the more harrowing.

Cannibal Holocaust, probably. I've seen plenty of other messed-up movies like Martyrs, A Serbian Film, Salo, Begotten, Irreversible, etc. But I had the extra "benefit" of watching Cannibal Holocaust as a teenager, which likely gave it more impact.

I've always thought The Butterfly Effect was a surprisingly dark movie in some parts. It totally ruined Eric Stoltz for me for a while just because of how effed up his character is in the movie lol.

To this day Im not sure what the lesson of that film was or if it even had one.

Martyrs maybe. I actually got mad after watching it the first time I sat through all of that shit for THAT!?!, but Ive since come to appreciate the film.

My roommate had me watch this B movie called Chaos. It was pretty fd up.

I make it a point not to watch extremely messed up movies, so maybe the Terrifier movies (I've seen the first two)

I remember seeing a trailer years ago for some weird movie where women get together and self pleasure themselves with a dying person in the room. Like they get aroused by suffering. I never actually heard anything about the movie after it came out though. But I remember people talking about the trailer

i dont think i've seen a movie that's way too out there in that sense...

I always interpreted as a parable for how America failed many Vietnam veterans after their return. Anthony, (the MC) cites this at the end of the movie but is sharply rebuked by the judge, a WWII veteran who couldn't see the difference in how his generation of soldier was welcomed vs how Anthony's was scorned.

Mind you, I think Anthony is 100% culpable for his own actions but he was thrust into some hard circumstances after the war and fell in with the only guy who he knew was a survivor, Kirby, who happened to be a criminal. I wouldn't call him a sympathetic character but it wasn't difficult to see what set him on his path.
