Let me suggest two things.

1 - With a kid it's hard to do things outside of time when the kid is sleeping. The child usually does not take naps any more so evening is like our only free time any more. Just happened that our kid fell asleep for a nap so I figured might as well suggest something.

2 - Yeah I agree it's boring. But it's like yesterday, my wife herself said, "Let's fool around tonight after we get home" (from trunk or treating stuff). But then that didn't pan out either lol.

Yeah, the problem is sometimes it ends up feeling like another chore so theres no way to get in the mood.

My wife is similar. She will shoo me away whenever I give her physical attention but whenever I go cold for a while, she'll knock on my door asking what's up.

Waking up early would just cause more problems imo since my wife likes to sleep in as much as possible and already states she's tired most days and our kid will wake up from anywhere between like 6-7 and also I gotta get ready for work. Not a bad idea though thanks for sharing it just don't know if it would fit into our own schedules.

That's basically cat behavior. Show attention and you're boring, vanish from sight and suddenly you're the most interesting thing in the world.

My suggestion is be like "Hey, we're gonna have sex on "this day." Schedule that shit. Leading up to the day, send sexy texts and love texts to get them in the mood. (I understand with a kid it's really hard, but maybe schedule it around a play date or some shit).

For instance, when my wife and I schedule a day, I'll give her a countdown every morning after i'm at work through text. For instance, "3 days until I get to devour you."

This isn't to say you can't have spontaneous secy times either. Just planning it out in middle age is important.

i have only glossed through some of the messages in the topic, but have you tried talking to your wife?

the shit youre telling us you could easily tell her to get the conversation going and in turn maybe find out why she is doing what she is doing. it might be a difficult conversation to start but its not a hard one to have. and it doesnt just have to be sexual in nature but it can be about anything, people just need to talk but it seems this day in age communication just flat out sucks

Oh yeah we talk all the time. I tell her how I'm feeling all the time. Sometimes she listens. Sometimes she does the, "Oh yeah? Well I'm even MORE tired and MORE overworked" spiel so I don't bother.

Spend more time actually talking to her, instead of ranting about her online. That would be a great first step.
