I am used to doing it by leaning to the passenger seat to peek back and using the side mirrors.

No. I cant do it. I dislike driving in general. Poor depth perception/spatial awareness.

Not as comfortable as I am with parallel parking. Im good at parallel but not parralel.

They use the backup camera which is a crutch.

Yes on more wide space. Hate parking on tight spots

No because I rarely have to do it. I'm sure if I had to parallel park every day I would be comfortable doing it.

It's not my first choice, but 360 cameras and sensors make it OK.

I used to be, but its been more than a decade since Ive needed to, so now not really.

I'm probably the best at it from who I've observed parallel parking... then I realized that the list of people I've witnessed is quite small. And I live in a community where even the most basic driving skills are too difficult for the average person.

So yes, I'm probably the best at it from what I've seen, but it's not saying much.

I'll do it if I have to, but I avoid it. Luckily, I don't live in an area where I find myself parking on the sides of busy streets very often.

Yes, although if it is a veeery tight spot, I like having someone out of the car guiding me a little bit, so I am not bumping cars constantly.

It feels like I've gotten worse at it over 10 years, but now I realize that's because I learned it in a normal-sized Honda Civic and I drive a variety of bigger vehicles now for work and home. Sad to say I'm not comfortable with it anymore because I do it so infrequently these days.

You arent required to know how to here, so I never learned.

No, I'll keep driving however long just to avoid doing it. It's not just that I'm not confident doing it, I also don't want to hold up any traffic.

I had more trouble in the driving test backing into a spot than I had doing the parallel parking. Everyone hyped up parallel parking that I didn't realize backing in to park sucks ass.

I honestly don't understand the point.

MFers all "it's easier to pull out" and then spend five entire minutes with their car jerking back and forth all arrhythmically like a guy's about to lose his virginity after gaining a .18 BAC.

Those people should not be backing in, if they dont know what theyre doing. It should take all of 5-10 seconds.

I am in my little Civic. I try to avoid it if I'm driving a bigger vehicle.

Yeah. Especially since I have a rear cam. I still won't chance it without a sizeable gap though.

No, it's how I failed getting my driver's license the first time. If parallel parking at an event is required, I likely won't go lol.

I did it once perfectly on my driving test then never has a situation ever come up that I had to do it. So, I have no clue.

I don't have to do it often, but it's easier than it looks. If you start out by backing in, the rest is a piece of cake

Not really, but it's not like it's crazy hard. Old people just didn't know what they were doing in the 60's when this became the stereotypical impossible car maneuver.

I've done it a handful of times. Nobody had to sit in the passenger seat and panic and shit for me to figure it out. I just saw it done, and copied what I saw. Might take a few seconds more than with some people, but that's it.

I'm OK at it, but I hate when people watch and judge, so much so that I would even drive away if it was taking me too long. Though now that I have a backup camera, I have no issues.

Backing a trailer is one of those things that seem like they should be impossible but actually make perfect sense once you figure out how they work.

So true. I'll add learning to drive manual at a young age is also a plus. Not that its necessary.

rear cameras have been a life saver on that.

I can believe it though. Some people do literally everything wide open.

Depends what i am driving, I guess.

My school bus, capable, yes, comfortable, no.

Any regular car, capable and comfortable

Reasonably comfortable, but not great at parallel parking.

Only time it ever stressed me out was when I was on a date with a pilot. If she can land a plane, youd better be able to park a midsized sedan.

I can parallel a semi with trailer.

Hate it. I failed my driving test three times due to parallel parking and I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've actually had to parallel park in my life since I've had my license. It is easier now with the camera though.
