Kotor2 I'd argue is much better than kotor1. Especially if you get the restoration mods.
Even without the restoration mod I'd call it the better game. 2 gets kinda weak post Dantooine return visit, but it's not like Kotor 1's endgame isn't really weak itself (Star Forge is just genuinely an atrocious area).
Also, holy shit Bastila while you're trying to redeem her. "There's naught but a flicker of light in the SEA OF DARKNESS I'M DROWNING IN! How can I be redeemed of my sins? I am lost!" Bitch is carrying on like she has Darth Vader's rap sheet but all she's done so far is put on black clothes. Yuthura didn't angst that bad about her redemption and she probably actually killed people!
