The Poll

Adding this poll to make a decision on Anime OPs. For context: I made a rule that Anime OPs need to be subs, but despite this, the Pokemon Theme from the dub still did very well. There were other dub-only openings that got votes, but Pokemon Theme definitely did the best out of them. It did not make it into the Rushmore but it likely had a high chance if that rule was removed.

I don't even listen to him and even I know that MC Hammer had 2 Legit 2 Quit, which was a big enough song that you can't call him One Hit. (I'm assuming that he had more hits than this as well)

Nominate - Family TV shows (like, shows that were made for the whole family to enjoy to a relatively equal degree, rather than a kids show that parents tolerate or an adult show that parents let their kids watch because it goes over their heads or there's nothing markedly offensive)

Having a song in a movie doesn't mean it was a hit

Considering Baha Men actually had multiple non-WLTTO songs that were big enough to get on Now That's What I Call Music CDs and they're still being mentioned here, I'd say a-ha counts.

I don't know about them. With A-Ha I think of Take On Me and The Living Daylights. And now I look into it they also had another song that was successful (The Sun Always Shines on TV) - in some markets more successful than Take On Me.

To me they had one huge hit (that is still relevant today), but not one hit. Like I said I don't really know about Baha Men and didn't vote for them.

Some of these had more than one "successful" song, but for most people, those songs aren't remembered and it's just one song they're known for.
