We know this, CE of the past constantly complained about their little or big sisters of which the only solution CE of the past would give is something we cannot say here anymore

I'm usually less aggressive towards women ...
Even within my family and siblings.

And I love her for it.

God, there's two memes this could be hinting at and both are horrible given the context (And the urination one is the less messed up one).

Not that I can judge someone for making typical teenage edgy comments as a teen. We've all said some shit.

Holy crap, a study where the "finding" is actually somewhat interesting and isn't something incredibly fucking obvious.

Or maybe it was obvious to those who are or have female siblings, idk.

I teach a class on human aggression and there are a lot of interesting things actually. Aggression peaks in toddlers for instance. The second highest period of aggression is in young males (late teens to early 20s), but that's what most people pick if you ask them when are humans most aggressive. Relative aggressiveness is also a pretty stable trait throughout your life (relatively more aggressive toddlers will be relatively more aggressive adults and vice versa).

This study is interesting, but the effect size isn't terribly large. Will be interesting to see what other follow-up studies find.

My brother enjoyed punching my shoulders and running after me with a knife. So sisters are even worse than that?

moments of aggression maybe. My brother would wrestle me but she legit kicked me in the balls once so hard. Somehow I still procreated. Still all in all shes the warmest person of all of us and keeps the family together in some ways

At least in my experience (granted, I was an only child so I am basing it off my friends), they would beat on each other, but if one of them was in trouble they would all come to his defense. Like the school bully picking on your little brother? That bully is going to be eating his own teeth for lunch.

Sisters, however, just basically want to ruin you. Not physically (at least in most cases), but mentally.

To be fair, a lot of things taken as common sense turned out to be wrong when the scientific method was applied.

People need to start talking about those more often then, because the vast majority of "studies" I come across feel like enormous no-duhhh moments.

My older sister threw a remote at my face from across the room when we were kids. She was also similarly aggressive to my other sisters before I was born. She was a menace as a child

It's good to have these things confirmed scientifically, even if it's obvious. Some obvious-seeming things turn out wrong, and we don't know until after the method is applied.

The big obvious one for me was "men find hot women hot", which is like *no shit*, right? But we like big tits and ass and full lips almost regardless of time period, which is good to know on paper.

My older sister (6 years older) is a wonderful person and the only time she ever "hurt" me was when I was like 4 I wanted her to swing me by my arms, which she did by grabbing my wrists and spinning me around... and popped my shoulders out of joint apparently. Not her fault at all, XD

My younger sister (4 years younger than me) is also awesome, and when she was 7 or so she punched me in the face, and when she was 12 she threw a ladle at me. But at 7 she didn't really know any better and at 12 that was more funny than it was actually violent/aggressive.

My brother (4 years older) punched me in the knee ONCE, cause I kept sneaking into his room. He was like, amazing to me in my youth and I wanted to know what was going on in his world, so I would always sneak into his room and check things out.

Ehhhh, debatable. I'm just as equally fine with A Cups and thinner, cupid bow shaped lips. But I'm especially against this new trend of instagram face with the excessive lip filler. These women with their overlined lips and lip filler I'm swiping left on every single time I see them on Bumble.

Also butt cheeks do nothing for me compared to wider hips and bulkier thighs from exercise.

I envy those of us who can think of one thing, or like the main thing, lol.

It was a definite pattern for me.

I actually do credit that for my perfect record of fights in grade school, though. I didn't just win; I stomped. I was used to fighting someone bigger, stronger and completely unafraid of actually hurting me. So some white collar kid my own age was no big deal, lol.

There's a joke about how serial killers are mostly men since men kill strangers, while women murderers usually murder their partners or people they're related to/close to, and not a lot of female serial killers are killing random victims it's always deeply personal.

So this kinda seems like the early stages for that joke

This pretty obvious to any parent with multiple daughters. They can be pretty vicious. It shocked me the first time i saw this, coming from a family of mostly boys.

My observation is that if i or my brothers acted that way with each other, it would've escalated to full blown fist fights. I guess boys just tend to be digital, while girls are analog

Damn, this is an eye opener because my older sister definitely used me as a verbal punching bag a lot when I was younger. She's one of the contributing factor to why I moved from Texas to California during my college years. Having a distance from her and me was the best decision I've ever made.
