I swear I've listened to this song almost daily since the contest started and it's still my favourite song in the whole tournament

It went above and beyond knocking out Conquest last round. Really brought the hammer down. Now, I make one last request of Precipice, for there is one last song that needs to be stopped. I was pleasantly surprised that Taido fought to a tie. I could accept it if Shiva made a run for its second contest win in a row. But Liminality will not stand.

Sky Sands! Thats an easy choice. Its both very Kirby and very not: it has the bouncy beat, the 0:50-1:03 rising to the challenge section, that just screams Kirby. But the emphasis is less on the Kirby and more on the foreign land (not forgotten, there's a difference), with the long, slow echoing winds, and, the highlight of the song, the vocals. Those oohs and ahhs couldve easily come off as silly if they were overplayed, but instead theyre lightly applied to support the feeling of marveling at unfamiliar sights.

Liminality vs Mysterious Planet was the toughest match to decide on in the contest and this one is pretty tough, too.
