- If it's a match between your favorite song ever and a song you despise, still LISTEN TO BOTH! Votes can and will be disqualified if there is suspicion songs are not being listened to, and you may be discounted for the rest of the contest for repeat offenses.
- No alt accounts, no rallying or begging, etc., etc.... You only get one vote! Swapping votes is alright, just make clear that you've already made a vote and are swapping.

In match 1, Im not very excited about either song, but I still strongly want one of them to lose. Even though Om Mani doesnt fully play into what I like about Chris Cs music, the guitar plus beeps combo in the second half is still good enough for me to feel positively about it. While Stow-on-Side is a nothingburger of a song that, as soon as it seems like its going to do something interesting, loops. So while neithers an ideal representative for their composer/series, Ill accept Om Mani and give Stow-on-Side the boot.

In match 2 on the other hand, Im excited about both songs AND I strongly want one to win! In fact, I like them both now more than ever before. Ive convinced myself that Turks knows exactly what its doing, if for no other reason than the choir tease from 1:10-1:20. The fact that it actually shows a little restraint there, that it makes you want something more from it as the phase transition begins, is crucial to the songs success. Its what makes the second blowout at 2:18 work when by all rights it shouldnt. Then theres EXODUS which is a perfect foil for the Turks, at first it seems too overbearing, theres too much going on, but on closer inspection turns out to be made up of carefully arranged rhythms that all harmonize together. The memorability of that call-and-response from 2:34-2:38 attests to how well this song sets everything in place. Yes, I love those Turks, and I want them to win this whole contest if they can, but I wont even mind if it's EXODUS (and hey, I predicted EXODUS so I win either way).

Yes, today I feel like kissing Pac-Man too, why not.
