The website states in tiny print at the bottom that its database excludes information from U.S. intelligence agencies.

But an easy search shows that DOGEs database provides details on the National Reconnaissance Office, the federal agency that designs, builds and maintains U.S. intelligence satellites. Not only are NROs budgets and head counts classified, but the prospect of Musks tech team meddling in sensitive personnel information is setting off alarms for some in the intelligence community.

DOGE just posted secret NOFORN info on their website about [intelligence community] headcount, so currently people are scrambling to check if their info has been accessed, said one Defense Intelligence Agency employee, who requested anonymity to avoid retaliation from senior leaders.

NOFORN stands for Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals, meaning information in this category cant be shared with any foreign governments, international organizations or foreign nationals without specific authorization.

idk what you expect, the military is relatively decentralized.

It's not like the anti-Trump members are going to just steal a bunch of equipment from an armory and go invade DC. Also a lot of the bases don't even have stuff like tanks and weapons, at least not easily accessible ones.

You can bet there would be a lot of pro-Trumpers who would immediately try to resist any sort of military uprising.

And a lot of pro-Trumpers who would gladly pick up weapons to shoot their brothers and sisters in arms if someone actually did try to instigate an anti-Trump movement at an actual unit level.

Also the military is not really trained to "disobey unlawful orders". It's something we're told about but generally don't receive regular training on it. Not like there's an annual course on "resisting a government coup by an unelected group of college dropouts working for a fictitious government organization".

Secondly, officers probably are more keen on finer nuances of law because they are required to know more about legal authorities and restrictions than most enlisted.
