Mauvika has been fantastic for me. Needs more buffing, but I can get her to crit for over 400k in the overworld.

Have some pretty lowkey Genshin days ahead for me with no one that entices me, but I'm actually pretty glad about that. I want to get someone in 5.7 but apart from that, hopefully have a nice pile of primos ready for the next region later this year.

Lackluster patch so far. Two patches in a row without something more to explore. Ended up doing the story quest for Mizuki, and that got me wanting a Touhou collaboration with all the youkai talk.

Doing 560000 damage with Sige burst feels so great, and that's not even optimized, just a pick-up coop group

I think I got 10 or 15 the first day, so probably

More should appear as you do them; you get 5 per day (at least I did). It's mostly Mondstadt and Liyue characters, with a random Kokomi thrown in.

I only saw Amber lurking around Goodboy Boreas and Xingqiu reading a book in a bamboo field. But I rebooted up the game a minute ago and now I'm seeing Kaz and Yaoyao. Weird lol

Another interesting note: just finished my chat with Kaz, and he acknowledged that Traveler is now apparently of an appropriate "drinking" age, since he said he'd have a fine bottle of wine ready for the next time we meet.

There's another one with Rosaria and Venti where Traveler has a glass of alcohol with them.

I just did this anecdote, and it wasn't actually alcohol. It's apple cider, the non-alcoholic drink of choice for Diluc as well.

A little thing that bothers me about the writing is that when presented with more than one dialogue choice, a lot of the proceeding dialogue is based on only one of those choices.

Often, your two choices will be two halves of a single sentence

Yeah, forgot about that one. What's the point? Just give Traveler some more lines. It's always weird to me when he/she has some voiced lines because they are too few and far between. Most are one or two sentences at most.

The thing is, though, you open their "voicelines" section and the Traveler has TONS of them. It's really weird.

You're right, and I should check them out at some point. Maybe that is where the Traveler's voice acting budget went all this time.

I'm 99% certain that this is just my American indifference towards tea talking, but I've found Zhongli's dissertations about the importance and complexity of tea preparation and drinking to be quite amusing. =)

Since I'm still using EN voices, it's neat to hear some characters, such as Razor and Oz, have voice acting. Can't remember the last time we saw Razor anywhere.

The one that really grates on me are the dialogue options where it's all part of the same one response. Zenless started doing that sometimes too and I cry inside lol.

At that point it's not even the illusion of choice because illusion implies some sort of subtlety lol
