At that point the mindset shifts to "Well I'm not sick right NOW, so I personally do not NEED free healthcare, and I don't want to pay higher taxes so someone who doesn't DESERVE free healthcare gets it." The same goes for student loan forgiveness; it's objectively good for the economy, and if you've done ANY research whatsoever, you would know that college debt is FAR different than it was for Boomers and Gen Xers...but at the same time, "Why should they get something for free? They should have to work for it just like I did. And don't major in History of Dance or Obscure English Authors; get a real, useful major!" --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier. Inviso ...
