In the interest of trying to avoid slamming people (which still might not work), I think the Democratic Party as a whole is too focused on individual demographics like say men, women, African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Latinos, and such instead of combinations of them like say non-white men, young men, and such. I can't blame them for that given the actual politicians are so dang old but man.

I genuinely think Biden is one of the establishment politicians who comes off as the least out of touch, but that's only because he's little more than a centrist sounding board willing to take input from anyone and everyone with little in the way of real goals for himself beyond "making everyone satisfied" which increasingly proved infeasible. For the heck of it I will mention every POTUS in chronological order I think was better: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama.

But you have in SAS someone who advocated for all black Americans voting for the GOP back in 2015, said he "doesn't like" that he voted for Kamala this December because he "doesn't want to hear about 'defund the police' or 'open borders'" and said in October that he would have voted for basically any GOP candidate except Trump - listing Haley and Chris Christie as examples. But then after this election didn't rule out voting for Trump a third time (I guess ignoring that would be unconstitutional.)

The same SAS that said that Trump getting convicted would raise his support with black voters and had to immediately apologize. The same SAS that says "we are sick of transgender issues."

The same SAS who called himself a "proud capitalist" and talked about us living in a "woke culture" (in 2023 well after woke had its meaning twisted) talking about people getting fired for calling someone by the wrong pronoun - and then had no examples when asked about if he knew anyone with that experience.

Thats all we need. We need someone to beat MAGA that isnt establishment Dem, not just because they cant do it, but also because establishment Dems beating Trump made the populist right feel even more vindicated. Trump's ego is fully under control of his handlers. They give him enough power when it helps them, and take it away when it doesn't. He is definitely not the critical point to attack in the current admin.

It's mostly a struggle between the evangelicals, white supremacists, and tech bros. The first two are actually the same, but the tech bros are pretty strong this time too. Pitting those factions against each other is the best way to disrupt the admin. The H1B issue is a good example of the kinds of things that raise the pressure there. If there's any way to cause a split between evangelicals and white supremacists, that would be the most powerful attack by far. At least, if you're ok with the tech bros winning overall, which you should be, given the alternatives.
