Why does Scare have two targets (Lopen and Red)?

I think Scare is lying about something because I don't buy that role existing but I do believe he has a scan on Ulti-- there are a million ways to catch Ulti lying so exactly what Scare is doesn't matter much.

Also uh this is definitely flavor trap territory but my flavor is literally The Watcher from Marvel stuff. But i am not a watcher as a role.

Well most of the time this just ends up as a 1 for 1 between Ulti / Scare. And i think everyones going to be okay with that. The question here is how much stock we should put into a ninja existing and it being neither of them

I just think it's a very odd flavor choice to include. I don't think he's very timey inherently (I see it, but there are just so many very time centric characters to use) nor do I see why you'd be so in on flavor splits if that's your flavor.

If scum isn't the ghosts I could see a much better marvel character you'd be too, if you're scum, that is very time oriented.

It's more interesting than you because Chang's game choices have specifically been tied towards curiosity about flavor.

I also think Chang loses a lot of credibility as an implied scanner now that a scanner has revealed.

I personally think it's Ulti Chang atm and will be strongly advocating to destroy Chang tomorrow.

Chang is needling the claim for a few reasons.

1. He wants to make himself look more towny. Sneaking out the watcher flavor is nice for him because it makes him look better when he has to claim on pressure.
2. He wants to figure out what Scare's role actually is because he knows me and Corrik can help him talk it through better than Ulti and Sultan, because depending on what he actually is it may be advantageous to keep it alive and go for the mislynch late game.

I just don't really see why you'd be talking about it that much. Corrik did but led with the most prudent point first-- scum doesn't ever fake this.

You haven't even claimed actually. You've been very vague about what you are which is the red flag. You have a fakeclaim in mind but because the setup is weird you need more flips and claims to figure it out.

If you're town you probably have a better chance of surviving if you full claim today.

Scum will never not block you now. Granted. Ulti can be the RB but if town you should risk reward whether it's worth it to gamble on that 50%.

I'm like 90% sure you're the RB and Ulti is some sort of more powerful role and that's why my mindgame worked so well on Sultan tho.

oh wait its the red power thats a day action, ulti would have visited last night to get it?

Oh but since scares is a time travel power it should happen before the ulti backup, so it wouldnt be able to see him visit later that night

That's what concerns me. Ulti said he had to travel back in time until when they are alive correct? Which the last time red would have been alive was night 1.

And he couldn't have known scares power existed when he said that.

Or could he have? When did ulti claim this?

Ulti claimed way before Scare did

Let's not forget that Ulti using his backup role on red to begin with never made any sense.

Like this isn't a claim to give any benefits of a doubt to. Ulti hasn't played it in a town way at all.
