Simple. Go to Sumeru. Approach one of the statues. Resonate with dendro.

The Pyro one seems decent though? If nothing else they look good for the new weekly boss

The Pyro Traveler is only decent if you equip Sacrificial Sword and get a proc to reset the cooldown every time you hit E.

The skill having 12 seconds downtime basically kills them from ever being useful.

Yesterday I did a stupid, and now I'm trying to figure out how to recalibrate.

I had 65 wishes saved. (Plus primogems and a ton of starglitter, but for purposes of this discussion, 65 wishes.) I decided that it'd be ooh shiny to get C1 for Mavuika, so I did a ten-pull on a whim. You know, just in case.

But, of course, you know what happens when the first ten-pull misses.

So now I have 15 wishes left and I've run up pity a bunch, which is a bad play considering I want to try for 2 Chevreuse cons next banner and I'm now very close to a 5-star. Not that I'd *mind* getting C1 Clorinde/Arle, but I'm not someone who usually pulls for (5-star) constellations.

I have basically three options:

a) Keep pulling on Mavuika, and maybe lose the 50/50.
b) Pull for Citlali, who I don't have, and who external forces seem to be trying to get me to commit to even though I'm not really sold on her.
c) Gamble the 50/50 on the next pair of banners.

I have enough primogems for another 40 wishes, and we'll be getting fates during Lantern Rite, so I can make a good run at Chevreuse, but I really should have saved those wishes because there's also no guarantee on getting 4-stars. I could just end up with 6 copies of Rosaria...or The Flute.

If I knew I would lose the 50/50, there's no problem here other than maybe running out of wishes. But as it is I'm liable to "waste" a 5-star if I'm not very lucky.

Personally I'd go with B, I was in a kinda similar situation where I was on my 75% pity and opted to get Citlali rather than burn it on Arle c1 (I'm definitely pulling for Chevreuse too).

I was like 1 for 15 winning 50/50s across the first two years of Genshin, but I've had much better results since. (I mean, I'd kinda have to, but...)

I did Citlali's quest today, and the enemies died too fast in the combat sections for me to actually test her with Mavuika. I had one shot to set up the melt hit and it got screwed up, and then they were just dead.

This new Genshin kid event NPC looks more detailed than normal

Man I know I still need to fix my artifacts for my new Natlan characters, but my Mavuika straight up got one-shot challenging the highest difficulty of the world boss for her talent materials :(

Seems the new 5* girl Mizuki will be on the Standard banner after the 5.5 update. Wonder how she measures up to Dehya

I dunno whats wrong with my Mavuika, but even with Citlalis shield Im being one-shot by strong enemies. Like the second enemy for 12-2 of Abyss just took her from full HP to dead two attempts :(

Two things, 1) I think Citlali's shield just isn't very good, at least not compared to Zhongli, maybe even Layla. 2) Natlan bosses have some crazy nuke damage? I have this issue with the cryo spiritspeaker boss this abyss but in the overworld too, part of her is if you use Bennett I think she can Melt you

Citlali's shield is slightly weaker than Layla's.
She's not really meant to be a primary shielder, tbh. You should treat her as a Melt support that happens to have a shield and not really a solo sustain.

Yeah, that makes sense. I say she's weak but I definitely don't build mine for shielding besides running EM artifacts. She's on scroll and I have her using TTDS to buff my pyro dps. You CAN use TotM on her if you want to boost her shield strength and have someone like Xilonen to use Scroll.

Generally in that comp you have Citlali on Scroll and Xilonen on Archaic Petra, but you can do Tenacity on Citlali instead if you want a little better shield

FYI Sacrificial Fragments is by FAR her best 4 star weapon (even competitive with 5 star options for her) because it lets her start doing off field cryo application without her ult. She can basically have near 100% uptime with it.

Oh that's interesting, I didn't think of that. Finally a good use for my sac frags besides a Nahida stat stick lol

Yeah it's annoying but I just strongboxed a bunch of Petra for Xilo the other day.

I really hope they come out with a second Natlan artifact set for supports. After getting Ororon I realized it was kind of awkward running him with Xilonen because Scroll doesn't stack, it's even worse now with Citlali. And you do get benefits from running multiple Natlan characters together sometimes because of Nightsoul Burst, so it's odd. Kinda crazy we still don't have new artifacts yet, we usually get those in x.3.

I at least have a lot of the Natlan artifacts I can convert for Xilonens different one

I'm fine with them not releasing a bunch of junk artifact sets that are only good for 1 or 2 characters.

Im up to 33 stars on the current Abyss. I dunno if I can DPS my way to 36 stars though. Ill keep trying at least since Im sure Arlecchino, Kuki, Diona, Xingqiu isnt a great team either. I just used them for added safety to stay alive really

If you replace Kuki with a hydro (Furina, Mona, Yelan preferably but I think even Barbara would be ok) that's actually not a bad team at all. The only problem it has is that Kuki is going to be stealing vapes/melts from Arle which would significantly reduce your DPS.

That is a good point. I do have Yelan. If I can get Xilonen artifacts swapped I might just manage to clear this stuff faster

I used Xiangling/Fischl/Chevreuse for the Arlecchino side, but also yeah double hydro + shielder usually serves me well

Suanni might be a bit of an issue though, that guy has 70% hydro resist so Yelan and XQ will do basically no damage. Diona will let you actually freeze it though, I had to run away during that part to not die and kill during the anemo ult lol.

I agree with tcaz that having both Kuki and Diona on the same team feels a bit redundant, especially when Kuki is almost exclusively a hyperbloom trigger and Diona is pure defense outside of her C6 bonus. Neither is an especially good healer, but they have value in being a healer with other aspects. Outside of Diona's shield, I'm not sure you're leveraging that in this team. Hydro's a replacement option, but my first thought, tbh, would be to put an anemo character (or Xilonen) in there for the resistance shred.

The non-Arlecchino team I used was Mavuika, Citlali, Xilonen and Bennett

I would probably split up Citlali and Xilonen so you can get the Cinder City buff on both sides. I don't think the extra Mavuika damage is worth it considering how strong she already is, and one or both of them could be replaced easier on that team IMO.

Maybe something like

Mavuika/Citlali/Bennett and then 4th slot could be like... Rosaria if she's built/you have her, but swapping Xingqiu over here would probably be fine too.

Arlecchino/Yelan/Xilonen/Honestly whoever hydro, cryo, or anemo. Anemo would probably be best but I think trying to play around with the double resistance shred is more annoying than its worth. Diona I don't think is needed but she would be okay if she's all you have built otherwise.

I don't think Kuki really has a place in either team. She doesn't really pair well with Pyro DPS unless you're going the Overload team option with Chevreuse and even then Fischl and Ororon are better.

The benefit of running that overkill Mavuika team is that it ANNIHILATES the stupid fucking flower with a shitload of nightsoul to destroy the shield and then a Mavuika burst for literally one million damage, saving you an enormous headache of a fight. And with that Arle's side can do whatever the fuck it wants lol.

I don't really think Xilonen contributes much to taking down the Papilla's shield honestly. She only does like 3 elemental hits (9 shield pips with Nightsoul) of the 72 you need to do to break it. It's probably better to just do donuts on Mavuika's bike while having Citlali's off-field Cryo going.

You use Xilonen's burst for a 4th hit, also I'm pretty sure if you're quick you get a second E use for 3 more, her CD is crazy short so she's kinda good at it. I think what I did was have Mavuika tap E for off-field nightsoul app, Citlali stuff, Bennett E once or twice, back to Xilonen.

I'd probably keep Mavuika team alone, but there's also merit for stealing Xiolnen. Either way, Yelan's a solid choice to fill the missing slot.

It's not worth it because the animation eats up time where you can easily get 2-3 hits from Mavuika's skill or Citlali's normal attacks in that time frame (which would do 6-9 shield pips vs 3 from the ult).

In fact it might straight up be better to only tap Mavuika's skill and then switch to Citlali and just normal attack after using her shield + burst to get the cryo app started. I'm not actually sure how that works out.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did so Mavuika's skill was going. Donuts felt too slow and clunky for me but idk what is actually better.

Also I didn't know Citlali's NAs were nightsoul aligned but if so then yeah

I'm actually not sure. I do know for sure that Xilonens ult is slower than spamming NAs with a catalyst though (you can thank resetting that floor last rotation about 60 times for that).

EDIT: OK no they are not Nightsoul aligned. It's just her skill and burst, which makes sense.
