Oops guess that last topic purged. I dunno what number we were on either. Anyways Chasca is out, theres new parts of Natlan to explore with 2 new tribes to do stuff for. Most importantly Mavuika leaks happened and shes not too far off!! Citlali also has some adorable animations making our grumpy granny look like a strong summon contender. This topic should stick around with all the excitement coming up.

Anyone on board 8 feels the comfort of having a forum thread.

I prefer having a topic, but it definitely isnt seeing the posts it used to. Also hot damn the trial Chasca you get to use for the tribal mission stuff feels cracked as hell.

I got a Skyward Harp from my free standard shop pulls. Neat I guess since I barely have any 5* weapons. I still gotta work on my Xilonen because she feels like she does nothing so Ive clearly got the wrong stats or something

I never feel the effects of support characters. I just have to trust they're doing their thing because all the number spam just makes my eyes glaze over.

Xilonen does subjectively feel very low-impact even though she's not. Compared to Kazuha, for example, he feels a lot more satisfying because his plunge and burst are flashy and are fun to do. Even though her buffs are extremely similar there's not as much going on visually for her besides the faint glowing aura.

I probably just dont know what to really do rotation wise either. I probably field a character too much in every team I use

One of my main teams is Furina, Yelan, Noelle & Navia, but I always seem to lose seconds swapping when their abilities arent ready to be used again yet and feel like I spend too much time with Navia on the field sometimes where Noelle with her burst up might be better? I probably just need straight up better team building in general since some I just use favorites and they dont work well together.

For Arlecchino in Abyss I feel like Im always using her with Diona, Xingqiu and Bennett when Ive gotta have better options there too.

For the wet rock team you're likely better off focusing on one on-fielder: either Noelle or Navia and replacing the other with Xilonen, who can heal for Furina and buff everyone's damage with hydro crystalize + scroll set, which is kind of insane.

For Arlecchino that team is like, fine. A bit awkward because she also likes Yelan and Xilonen too. I often run her with Yelan/XQ/Zhongli, for example. Diona is a fine replacement Zhongli but Layla is probably better since she can't get healed anyways. Or you can forego shields and run an anemo or Fischl for overvape, taking advantage of Oz snapshotting Bennett buff.
Character kit leaks
Citlali looks like she'll be a good support option for Arle too, since she has a shield. Though how much better she is, who knows.

I don't have Navia, so I can't make great recommendations there, but I'm going to look at it as you're primarily using Noelle, and Navia is a quick swap DPS. So Furina skill/burst, Yelan skill/burst, maybe fire off a blast with Navia, switch to Noelle and go to town. After her burst ends, do full Navia thing with skill, a few attacks (while waiting for crystallizes from Furina) and then skill again, and then start over. At least that's my best guess. Maybe it's better to use Navia before Noelle, but I see her as your gap filler to plug that void before the other cooldowns are up.

Arlecchino: Skill, Xingqiu skill burst, Bennett skill burst, Diona shield, back to Arlecchino, charge attack and start reaping. Skill again as soon as it's up. Supports can effectively be in any order. This one's much more straightforward, other than that sometimes Arlecchino will be spent before the supports are ready.

I was using Dionas shield second so definitely should change that so it has more uptime for Arlecchino attacking. Was too dumb to consider that lol

Second half banners are Zhongli/Neuv with 4*s of Yaoyao, Fischl and Heizou

The problem with every shield in the game that isn't Zhongli's is that it only lasts 12 seconds, and inevitably ends right as you're about to face-tank something. Doesn't much matter whose shield, which is why I maintain Layla is no better a shielder than Diona, and Citlali will be no better or worse than either of them.

4-stars are whatever. Solid, if unspectacular.

First time Ive ever seen anyone call Monas ass skinny. I know its not what you meant, but still couldnt resist. Zhongli banner never comes at a time where I could summon for him. Hes cool, but then Id have to pass on cooler waifus and who can do that

The Wenut in the theater mode thing is super annoying for my characters. I cant kill it in time with any tries yet so far. If only I could use Yoimiya or had more character options for this aside from Water/Wind/Electro

I had a ton of trouble with that, too. I beat my head against a wall, and then finally sacrificed the characters I was trying to save for the final chamber, and it still wasn't easy. I thought time-wasting bosses were going to be exclusively a feature of Spiral Abyss from days past, but that was a pretty nasty obstacle.

I finally managed it after multiple attempts. Those last two bosses were cruel with the character options Hoyo

The Wenut was going to be cruel no matter which characters you had.

I've got enough to guarantee someone even accounting for a lost 50/50 now. Just a question on if they're going to do the banner changeup or not now. I want Citlali more than Mavuika, but I want Mavuika too if possible.

With Capitano deconfirmed by the silhouettes and no one else I'm specifically looking forward to at the moment (besides...Skirk apparently???), I might actually go for Citali now.

I am absolutely rolling on Iansan unless she ends up being a permanent banner unit somehow. If she is I'll just grab her from next years free one.

Current leaks don't suggest she is the one, though. Still, who knows.

Skirk I need to see more of. She isn't massively my type from what we saw of her, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested at all. The rest I'll reserve judgement on for now, but I do find the concept of the cowgirl incredibly amusing (and will be very disappointed if she isn't actually one and the silhouette is misleading).

Meanwhile ZZZ has a cowgirl NPC, but no cowgirl you can summon yet :(

Oh hey my first 5* was that new fancy animation and got me Mavuika. After that I went for Citlali and got her after Diluc Destroyer of Coin Flips showed up again and got to C6 :/. If I could lose the coin flips to other characters more that would be nice. Still got over 70 pulls left so I can save up for a new character
