in 2022 the opponents of the 49ers went 0-15 the following week.

Only 1 team managed to win their next game (the Chiefs), but they had a BYE in between playing the 49ers and that win. Everyone else played the very next week and got destroyed.

Only way for it to be perfect is if a team went on bye after the lions, then played the team the lions played during the bye week, and they tie.

it could be argued darnold played just as well as stafford imo

I'm not entirely surprised by the result. By all metrics the Vikings were playing below their record, and the Rams were playing above it. Darnold has been an acceptable QB but really nothing more.

The only difference is I thought the Vikings would be the one with that little late pull away score. I didn't put a lotta confidence in this game either way.

Maye is fun to watch. Happy to admit I was wrong on MHJ > Maye.

Maye keeps hitting receivers perfectly, they just keep dropping it.

He got speared in the back of the head on a slide so hes probably out for the day if the Pats have any sense.

Maye gets injured and the Pats run the most predictable three and out possible. Two rushes into a loaded box for no yards followed by a short pass with no chance at a first down. It was so obvious the Jets were ready for all three plays ahead of time.

Yeah Pats probably aren't scoring again if Maye stays out.

richardson does not seem good at quarterback

Pats are making no attempt to even hide the tanking at the end of the half. 2 minutes left and two timeouts and they effectively took knees while the crowd was booing.

Without Maye they're not even going to try to win anymore.

With Richardson, you are betting on his athleticism to outweigh his lack of skill as a QB. This is why I thought it was a mistake to draft him so high.

He just hasn't played enough games as a QB. I'd be hesitant to draft any QB who only played one season in college.

If Flacco were starting I don't hesitate to take Indy today. Houston has felt over-favored all week.

But I'm never picking this team led by Richardson to win any game of substance. The dude is 2/13.
