There was a youtube clip suggested for me where Buu kills Babidi. He punched his head off then blew up his lifeless corpse. Fucking hell, he could've eaten the man, but he decapitates him.

There are different cuts of DBZ and one is designed for younger audiences so depending on what you saw you might not have seen it.

For instance one of the most gruesome scenes is when Trunks chops up Freiza into multiple pieces and the pieces float there. In the US version that we got initially on Toonami you don't see that at all it was toned down heavily.

That was pretty graphic too, but at least Videl didnt lose any body parts or get exploded. Kind of gotta wonder what the referee was thinking though. Hey theres this psychotic 800 lb. dude on roids stomping on a teenage girls head. Ill see if she can turn the fight around

The fact that earlier on, Piccolo literally cut Babidi's body in half was swift but surprisingly violent as well, considering the cut versions that usually leave that kind of stuff out showed it too.

But what surprised me even more is that Piccolo didn't bother to kill Babidi at that point. Like, he especially of all people should know better that if you 'leave someone to die' instead of killing them, they'll be back.

The dragon ball manga got away with slightly more gore in certain sections also. There is this manga panel in the buu arc showing a family that got torn apart.
