They are 100 chicken nuggets from McDonalds. You have to eat them in one hour, no breaks. You get some ketchup to dip them in. You have one small sprite to wash it down. Nothing else. Do you take this deal?

Honestly don't even think it would be a challenge. I'm no professional eater but used to do food challenges in my Navy days and could do stuff like 3 feet of sub and an entire large stuffed crust supreme pizza without even really having to push myself. I think 100 nuggets would be easy to be honest. The amount of food wouldn't be an issue but I can't eat gluten so in this hypothetical scenario they need to be gluten free and coated in rice flour.

*edit* After googling it seems a nugget weighs .6 ounces so 100 nuggets would be 3.75 pounds of food. Easy just as I suspected.

nothing in the post says you have to dip them in ketchup, just that you have it.

I can do 20 in one sitting with zero effort. I could definitely take a run at 100.

I'd try, so long as the ketchup isn't mandatory. I've never done more than 20, but 20 isn't so much that i can't keep going. Probably wouldn't make it, and definitely wouldn't be happy by the end, but why not try?

Id give it a shot. Id probably have a stroke but 1 mil is worth the risk imo

I used to think it'd be easy, but I've watched Twitch streamers who appeared to be able to eat a lot try to eat 100 nuggets over an hour, and they almost all fail, which leads me to believe it isn't so much the actual weight of the food, as much as, say, how often you actually have to masticate and swallow.

EDIT: Part of it may also be mental. Like, maybe knowing the count is "100" makes you feel fuller more quickly than you actually normally would.

While I agree on your point and think there is merit to it nothing compares to a steak challenge in the amount of chewing you have to do and how tired your jaw gets. If I can do a 5 pound steak and all the sides I'm confident I would destroy 100 nuggets with little issue.

I'd die.

Especially with just one puny small sprite.

I wouldnt enjoy it, but to be set for a very long time without having to work would definitely make it worth it.

I could do this easily. Id eat a 20 piece when I was 13.

Oh, I'm not saying it's impossible, at all. I'm just saying it's likely not as easy as people appear to think it is. If you can do steak challenges like that, then yeah, it's probably no problem. That said, your average person also can't complete those steak challenges, or else they'd... Not exist.

Plus, I have some weird quirk where if I sneeze a bit, I get really hungry. I could have just eaten a huge meal, but if I sneeze a few times, Ill feel like Im starving. I figure if I shovel down as much as I can then induce sneezing, I can keep going lol

No I have minor digestive issues as it is. Don't even want to to try it.

Weird. I have the opposite of that. I get really nauseous and feel like Im gonna puke before I sneeze which is a rather recent development >_>

I could probably do this if I was super baked. My munchies are insatiable under a good high. Sure my stomach hurts a couple hours later, but I deal with that when it comes.

This doesn't even seem like it would be challenging for me. I'd probably even give it a try for free (assuming the nuggets themselves were free) just to find out for sure.

Where's the challenge? I eat 10 in about 2 minutes and that's me taking it slow. Long as I have sauce, I can devour 100 in maybe 20 minutes. I might not feel good afterwards, but I'd get it done.
