How do you send a fax if you don't have a fax machine.

My health benefits place wants me to fax them my financial information, which is ok - I do this every year

normally I give my papers to my landlord's office since they're both AB guv, but I'm told they aren't allowed to fax each other any more.

...now, I don't know their fax number, but I might be able to google it; and I don't have a scanner, but I might be able to just screengrab my bank information; but that still leaves the final piece of the puzzle:

How do I send this as a fax?

yes, but that's another negative anchor point (or wanker point, if you will) - while I can get my information on my PC, I can't get it on my phone

There are apps that let you scan documents using your camera and then fax it.

Email the documents to yourself, access email from phone.

You bank might send a fax for you if you ask. I know they will often do notary stuff for free if you're a customer.

You can also try a place like Kinkos/FedEx Office. They'll charge you for it, but it's usually fairly cheap.

this is what they told me on the phone to do, the person was even like 'why do we even still use faxes'

:/

But, because gmail was being a dick I couldn't send it as a pdf, I had to send my bank information as 4 .png

First, it's insane that they want a fax.

Second, there are businesses that offer a fax. afaik, it's something you can probably get done at a Staples or a library

I've used faxzero before and it worked great and free. It limits how often you can do it and might add a watermark that it was sent through faxzero but it works fine

I've done it from Staples. Annoying but it works.

There are online fax services if you have it as a digital document. Or go to a library and use their fax machine or scanner.
