i can remember reporting one post in recent memory (3+ years) and it was obvious troll bait meant to stymie actual discussion until the topic hit 500 whereupon the subject would be dropped forever

I only report people when I think the post/poster is making the topic/board worse to enough of an extent that removing them would be an improvement. That's pretty rare, and certainly doesn't extend to enforcing arbitrary, poorly-defined restrictions that are seemingly a first step in shutting down social traffic to the site.

Nope because I believe people have a right to their political views good, bad, right or wrong and I'm afraid we're moving towards censorship because I have had posts removed here and over at yahoo that were not bad at all but somebody who didn't agree reported it and it was taken down so people need to be aware of what's going on.
We don't have to agree with anything post but I think people have the right to post their opinion as long as it doesn't border on personal attacks etc. --- SpankageBros ... Copied to Clipboard!
