adjl 04/19/24 11:09:06 PM #6:	I like spinach, but I never have it anymore because my girlfriend is quite violently allergic (not technically an allergy, but functionally identical to one except with exclusively GI effects instead of symptoms more traditionally associated with allergies) and we therefore never put it in meals. There's really no reason I couldn't have it myself, since she's not sensitive to cross-contamination, but given that she actually liked spinach before it started causing her problems, I figure it's nicer to just avoid it. --- This is my signature. The funny part is, I'm willing to say that I'd probably be able to tolerate or even enjoy raw spinach as an adult, but being forced to choke it down and fight back against vomiting as a kid has pretty much rendered me psychological incapable of ever trying it. As a related aside, I find creamed corn to be equally disgusting, but love corn in general. So in that case at least it's definitely a texture thing.
