If you take the money, all living cows instantly transform into horses. It will also be impossible for either science or nature to create cows again.

Money is untaxed Canada dollars.

True, but would you be willing to eat horses now that cows are gone?

Horse meat is a delicious and is loved in France, in fact you've probably eaten horse meat at an outback steak house and weren't able to tell the difference.

Would it? Bison almost went extinct in North America and I don't think anything was destroyed. Maybe on levels that didn't really impact humans aside from no bison to hunt. Domestic cattle do nothing but harm to the environment.

The methane they produce also fertilizes the Earth though and cows in general probably have more benefits that we don't even know about and haven't discovered yet.

We humans produce way more C02 as waste that should be eliminated to just have cows eliminated due to potential

These are some of the benefits that cows give us that we do know of. A very long list, who knows in what other ways they may benefit us too

I've certainly seen some of the most expensive horse shit in the world. ~True story.

i imagine we would still apply selective outrage about which animals we slaughter for pleasure, so people would still object to eating horse.

So basically $10 million dollars but society crumbles?

Its not oh youll eat cows but not horses, its we cant seamlessly do the same thing with horses that we do with cows, so basically the sudden disappearance of hundreds of millions of cows and the sudden appearance of hundreds of millions of horses will pretty much destroy our way of life.

This.

Cows could be replaced.

Beef isn't the only meat to eat (and horse meat is great too, I eat it regulary)

And goat or sheep milk/cheese is a thing too (I don't eat it regulary, but whatever).

The problem is a sudden flip would be beyond chaotic.
