As for why hes a Republican, he said, Im a Boomer and Im a conservative. But I have not been a big fan of politicians. So I have a hard time even saying that Im Republican, but I dont really like what the Democratic representative has been doing here. And so thats why Im running against them.

ODonnell believes hell have an advantage in part because he is well known in games, and he has the power of what he calls the Marty Army, which consists of thousands of fans on Discord. He is announcing his candidacy on the Discord channel in the audio chat. Most probably dont live in the district, but they might be able to help with the campaign.

This is purely anecdotal, but I once ran into the brother of Michael Salvatori (the other main composer for Halo and Destiny). We were talking about the music of the games and when I mentioned Marty O'Donnell his face suddenly had a dreadful expression for a second.

Man, this is disappointing. Not one of my heroes or anything, however I no longer want to cover the Halo 2 opening with my band knowing this.

Yeah was good music, but knowing that some of his followers openly argued that slave ownership should have been left up to individual states just ruins listening to it.
