bigblu89 02/26/24 5:25:05 PM #2:	I visited a friend who lived just outside the DFW area, and it basically looked like upstate New York to me. Dallas proper looks like any other big city. I mean, the whole metroplex down there has a population of close to 8 million folks, and a lot of people there do business with people from all over the world, so you won't stand out quite as much as you'd think. Also I can't remember the last time I saw someone carrying a gun who wasn't a cop, so I don't think you have much to worry about there, either. Some people do have them in their trucks, though. For where you're going, your biggest worry should be the traffic. From looking at Google Maps, there are no physical toll booths, just places that scans your transponder tag or take a pic of your license plate.
