Well if they can steal the election and put trump back in power, he will probably just appoint loyalists to all political positions. No need for the campaign finances at that point.

The celebration is because if they actually go through with this, it's the end of the republican party no ifs, ands or butts, all that money they spend across states trying to get republicans into various offices will now be funneled into Donald Trump and thus the candidate can't afford TV time, they can't afford to print out signs, they can't afford to rent out places for town halls/rallies, they can't afford to actually make themselves known in their district enough for republicans to come out for them compared to their democratic challenger who would likely have enough to do all of those things thus being able to get their message out to more people who don't have any opposition in their heads because of lack of funding thus most likely the democrat wins.

Combine this fact with another one: Democrats have been kicking ass in all elections even ones slated to go badly for them

Together with these facts and the magic card: Polymerization you get a country where the majority of it is led by Democrats, not all of it, but enough of it that Republicans have next to no say in any pieces of legislation, no hostage taking situations like government shut downs or political theater impeachments or a congress that's a frat house without the togas and bestiality

Doesn't it sound wonderful? It could all be reality by having this absolute foolish and self destructive action pass through with pointless praise and blind obedience with the icing on top of seeing every single political mind and expert who made it their life goal to bring the republican party to the level of power it has at the cost of everyone else get to watch powerless as Trump dismantles all of their life's work like a big lumbering orange kaiju monster and blame them for when everything is ashes and he's doing his weird little fist "dance" on it to another copyrighted song the creators of demanded he stop playing.

It's the ultimate in poetic justice and I hunger for it, I thirst for it, I lust for it, can you imagine someone as evil as Mitch McConnell leaving this world knowing everything he did was destroyed and all the people he hurt, all the people he helped screw over for decades are going to start living happier, healthier lives and his name will forever be associated with the word "failure"?
