At the expense of beating the REAL GOTY, RE2

Looking at the bracket, AI beat 3 games in overtime too lol, so RE2 or Baba or Yooka-Laylee (or Ring Fit) could've made that final instead! 2019 has so many good games tbf.

I hadn't played RE2 or AI at the time, but I definitely would've voted AI if I had. RE2's the worst RE I've played (4, 4 Remake, 7, 8, 2 Remake) by a wide margin.

Is Super Mario Wonder any different from all the other extremely overrated 2D Marios?

I guess Wonder is. It's pretty great.

It's arguably the best 2D Mario platformer since World.

Mainly because the majority of the NSMB titles are okay at best

I feel like NSMBU is pretty well liked

other than that I guess there is the Mario Maker games

Havent played Wonder but it definitely had the much easier path. BG3 beat Alan Wake II, Lies of P and RE4.

Being on the receiving end of the biggest blowout in championship history isn't winning by any means. It's the TCU of these tournaments.

Year of the Dragon had the skateboard levels. It was good, but not great

Id love to see 1995 but Im sure its a lot of work doing this. I might be able to do some grunt work for you if it would help speed things up.

I played the Spyro trilogy remakes for the first time a few years back. Spyro 1 and 3 were very good games, they hold up great. Spyro 2 is terrible though, way worse than the others. It being the one to win a contest is pretty sad. It's stuffed full of awful mini games.

I liked Vamp, but didn't see the point of continuing after 'beating' the main game or whatever.

I adored all 3 Spyros as a kid, no idea how well they hold up. Great music at the very least!

I wouldn't say Spyro 2 is bad, but it's a pretty poor sequel and easily had the worst level design of the trilogy. It's still fun, but there are a lot of problems.
