SHRlKE 02/09/24 11:37:00 PM #1:	UK here so I dont have much in terms of immediate skin in the politics of the US outside of how it will affect the UK and our interests. I do feel for the US at the moment. The UK press are portraying the next US election as bad guy Trump vs an increasingly elderly Biden and to me it does feel like there is an obvious feeling of not wanting Trump to win rather than wanting Biden to win. If that makes sense. So from a non US person I need to ask why dont the dems have anyone else who is big enough to go up against Trump than Biden who, regardless of if its true or not... seems to be getting worsening polls especially around concerns of his age? It could be 100% down to politically motivated media in the US portraying him that way but I do worry its going to be a lot closer this time and Bidens gaffs arent helping him at all. Ironic really as I still feel like despite this Biden is the obvious choice over Trump.
