The serious answer is that US presidents nearly always run for reelection to a second term and incumbents typically have a significant advantage in that election.

To give up that advantage voluntarily would be strange, and if Biden had stepped down that way, the GOP-loving US mainstream media would have had a field day with endless speculation about what horrid scandal(s) prompted that move.

Thats fair enough. Any idea who will take over from Biden once he retires at the end of hopefully his second term? The only name I know regarding the dems other than Biden and Harris is AOC.
