This is true on basic attack for most characters of course, but even some skills, talents, and ultimates just don't actually change what matters much for those last few jumps. Again, excluding basic, DoT characters typically have pretty strong maxing viability, more than most. Bronya is a good one to max if you're running 161+ speed. Let alone them rolling into the right stat, let alone getting max value! Even my best artifacts typically have one or two wasted stats and missed rolls. That video you posted earlier is on a fairly heavy DEF build and the comments around it were that the difference between building crit/dmg% versus stacking more def is fairly minimal. But if you have the relics already or are farming that domain, sure. I gave up on DPS Pela but I would love to try again one day. Her and Welt are screaming for it but it's so difficult. If you're going DPS Pela then you want 4 PC Pioneer anyways, probably, so I can't say my attempts were wasted. Luocha (and probably Aventurine) solves this problem if you have him. Also you really have to make sure your debuff situation is reliable.
