but I think this Kafka/Black Swan/Ruan Mei/Huohuo team might be strong

I have two options for Black Swan. Always 4pc DoT and 2pc Glamoth.

133% EHR

Also heard atk% orb is better cus you already get a lot of dmg% from the EHR conversion + Ruan Mei

The second one is gonna be more consistent for endgame bosses. Against bosses with 40% res you will have almost a 20% chance of missing an epiphany stack from basic and talent in the first build, half that in the second. Though in other situations the first is more damage.

*Doing SU world 7 for first time*
*kick everythings ass handedly, fight the deer, first two phases destroy it*
*final phase it gets its ultimate off and one shots everyone and I lose*

A tip for the newer players, if you close the game before dying to a boss in SU, it will restart you in front of the boss when you boot back in.

The Deer is a special case.

There is a threshold, and on one side is "this guys a joke" and on the other is "this is bullshit".

There's no regular fight against the Deer.

It's not great yet but at least I'm on the path here.

Probably need to pick up a Vonwac set instead of the Penacony Planars, since Dual DPS Ice doesn't seem to be where it needs to be yet.

Most importantly, moving all those Level 15 Messanger pieces off of Ruan Mei means I'm one step closer to a Hyperspeed Bronya setup, the real goal.

Haven't started the new set farm yet but I might switch Ruan Mei to Vonwacq too. With Kafka and Black Swan's new setups, they both move before her due to RM's speed buff not affecting herself

Nah, ATK vs Wind Damage depends on team comp and ultimately just comes down to which has better substats. And idk about anyone else but resin almost always lets me down on substats.

Still Ruan Mei. She's extremely valuable for that team. Asta's buffs are going to be more valuable than stacking Guin and Black Swan'a debuffs together.

I wouldn't run Silver Wolf in that team unless the enemy is already weak to Quantum. Preferably they'd also already be weak to eather wind or lightning.

Clara doesn't really have any synergy there. It's not like she has anti synergy either...honestly I don't think Clara has a 5* buffer that's tuned to take full advantage of her yet. The best buffer one at the moment for her is Yukong or Tingyun.

Luka you shouldn't ever be using unless the enemy is already weak to Physical.

Honestly if you have high Es on Lil Gui I would consider ditching Black Swan in that scenario and running Kafka/Gui/Ruan Mei. It is harder to brute force through resistance with dots because they can't crit.

If you're trying to do the current MoC 12 first side with the dot team, I've found it to be kind of a nightmare. That fucking deer has 40% resistance to lightning AND wind. Oh and 40% effect res so sometimes Swan's stacks just eat shit.

Ah yeah well I struggled with those two on Conundrum 2 but that was a combination of getting Swarm/Argenti as the final choice with no weakness implant and making the foolish choice to drop Huohuo when I really needed the cleanse. Still, Black Swan arcana got me there and with enough Nihility blessings I don't think damage would be an issue...

Also is it just me or do the Nihility resonance interplays in G&G suck ass? Remembrance and Elation are fucking nothing!

All right. Caught up with the msq. Can safely say for IPC asshole, I like Aventurine way more than Topaz.

I refuse to believe Firefly is really gone. I feel like we haven't even learned her full story.

Also used Kafka/Black Swan/Huo Huo/Ruan Mei team the whole time and it's like Penacony enemies were designed for them. Except for the monkey that has that shield bounce mechanic.

I think the biggest issue is that both Kafka and BS feel a bit squishy, the sp economy is pretty tight, and in fact I beat Sam just with Ruan Mei and Huohuo alive, just them tanking while he sucked his own life and the Arcana ticks from the off-field Black Swan lmao

I reached the "free 5*" quota. Not sure what to pick but it occurred to me that Himeko might work well with Ruan Mei and I don't have any 5* Fire or any Fire units built other than TB, who is a mainstay.

Just remember that we'll be getting Sam at some point, Fire Destruction AoE. Probably 2.2.

That's not really something to count on as a F2P. I still have to draw him.

I don't think Himeko has much specific synergy with Ruan Mei, and Himeko's just kind of weak in general. (Outside of Pure Fiction where she is strong)

Of course assuming you already have Bronya I think most other choices are justifiable gameplay-wise since it's not like the others are universally fantastic either.

Well, I was weak...figured I'd throw a few 10 pulls at the Black Swan banner to try to get Misha to E2 where he gets some defense shred. 80 pulls later I got him there...and E6 Guinafen, E6 Tingyun, and E1 Black Swan. At least the girls deserve it.

I really don't know if I'm going to go for Sparkle. As mentioned, I've had great loss luck on 50/50s (I mean....I still lost, so how much luck could it be) so I have that E3 Bronya.......so I just don't know if I can justify another Crit Damage Hypercarry Advance Forward Harmony 5*.

Oh I just did a single pull and am now at E5 Misha.

A character I don't even know if I'll ever use. Meanwhile, all the 4*s I actually do want I always have the crappiest luck imaginable.

I'm down to 20 pulls and 10 pity now but I was always going to skip Sparkle because I have Bronya at home. I'm still working through the story so hopefully I can scrape together enough pulls for Fu Xuan or Aventurine in 2.1. Which one I go for might depend on banner order now, I guess.

But probably not as much as I need another sustain so I can wait. Doesn't really help that Acheron is in direct competition with Kafka either.

They are actually very different! She may be lightning nihility, but she is 100% a Crit DPS. Her Nihility typing seems to only be because of how her debuff count application works , and that she is meant to synergize with a team of Nihility characters, getting buffed by how many are in the team (3 at cap, only needing 2 if you have her E2. Not confirmed if she herself counts as 1 of them).

Acheron seems like a Lightning Hunt character in all but name. It's only recently that people even discovered she was Nihility, right? She'll have reasons pertaining to her kit for this, but I think the main knock on effect will be the inability to give her easy free crit stats via light cone. I guess unless her signature LC provides that any way. It really wouldn't surprise me.

I mean she's still ultimately a lightning DPS, which Kafka covers, and as a Nihility they'll be fighting over my GNSW cone. Unless they make really good teammates for each other I don't see how you'd get much use out of having both.

I have little doubt that she's gonna have a niche as fuck signature crit light cone.

Finished all the events now (aside from a few challenge fights in Foxian Tales and the Boulder Town Arena I'm having trouble with).

Might actually be the best sustain unit for the Kafka/BS/RM team if you don't have HuoHuo.

Lost Gears & Gold difficulty lv2 again. Got a full team of 80 with 3/4 of them at max traces and still my characters die so fast against bosses. They can literally be blown up in like 2-3 turns. I had Elation path with Topaz/Xueyi/Lynx/Ruan and got to the boss before you fight the swarm or whatever and died since I ate too much damage. This is way harder than Genshin and I dont think Im enjoying any of the end game content at all anymore

Try using two sustains. Lynx alone is probably not going to cut it with how hard stuff hits and you're not on a clock to the extent that you would be in MoC.

Well the problem with that is I didnt care about the sustain units that have been released so far so Ive basically just got Lynx, Nat and March for any kind of dont let me get killed unit >_>

yeah unfortunately this game holds you at gunpoint and tells you to pull for a sustain even if you don't like any of them like me

Im confused. Do you mean conundrum level 2 or actually level 2? Because I feel like if youre talking about actual level 2, youre missing something pretty basic about the gameplay if youre having trouble with a full 80 team.

I mean the one that says Difficulty 2 on the selection. It says Rec lv73 and my lv80 team clobbered everything til the 3rd boss (2 robots) where I killed their first two phases basically instantly and then they got to act like 8 times in a row and wiped out Lynx and Ruan which left me dead a turn or two later.

Building Crit stats on defense pieces though....I bet a lot of people have chunked a lot of Adventurine relics thinking they were garbage lol.
