What was weird was that I saw a lot of people trick or treating in daylight. Never did that as a kid. Even when I was really little my parents always took me at night.

DST used to end before Halloween, so it got dark earlier. They pushed it back a week specifically so that trick or treating could happen while there was still daylight.

We had a couple come to our door when it was still light out but majority were after dark

When Watterss mom called in and showed everyone who she thinks he is on his new show, that ended up confirming to all of us how much of a shithead he is. She basically had to find ways to not call him that but still call him out and keep him in check for the minutes she was present.

Dads are leaving work at like four oclock while its still light out to go trick-or-treating with their children. Now, if I was twenty years old, and I was trying to get started in the business and I would tell my office manager that I've got to leave work early for Halloween to trick-or-treat?

How many 20-year old office workers have children old enough to trick or treat?

Remember the shit fit they had about teaching young children empathy? Like my god when you see people get mad at the word empathy it truly shows you what their ideals are all about yet that mindset only works for the rich influential people, for the non rich that mindset is a great way to either get arrested, get fired or just fuck your life up unless you stop being an asshole long enough to form some kind of friendships and relationships with people. Yet even then, there's a reason why ID Discovery used to have a show about people who got murdered and yet not a single person had anything nice to say about the victim, they were always just really terrible to any and everyone around them

I almost saw that happen yesterday as I was coming back from errands. Some 5ish year old was at a street corner way ahead of his family and tried to cross as someone was taking their turn (the driver had the right of way) at a stop sign.

Kid's real lucky that driver was paying attention and had fast reactions, a second slower and we'd have had a tragedy.
