If you are using Firefox try this:

and see if that helps.

Like I keep saying time and time again running Firefox or any browser with only one ad bloker is lunacy.

You really are beginning to be a really annoying pain in the bloody neck.

Will you get this through your bloody head skipping ads is not fucking piracy.

You haven't got a fucking clue what piracy is.

From the Merriam-webster dictionary:
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/8/8/AAfUmvAAE9SE.jpg
So tell me where the fuck does it say that skipping ads is piracy. Oh thats right no where.

Piracy is copyright infringement. Skipping ads online or not watching them on tv is NOT copyright infringement! COMPRENDE!

Oh look you expect us to sit there and watch every fucking ad and commercial on tv and online right? No thank you. You just run along and enjoy watching every fucking ad/commercial on tv and online us smart ones will block them.

Oh and try this on TV in Britain sometimes before the start of a commercial break especially during a game show the host would say something along the lines of "we'll be back in two minutes you can put the kettle on"!

You're just screwed.

i went through the three strikes thing and it didn't disable anything, it just really wants to play ads but they don't go through. like the video will say it's 5 seconds long and then the real one will play.

if you can't actually see anything and the three strikes thing did its job, open the video in a private tab.

Really, I'd suggest just committing to NoScript, at this point. Sure it makes the internet in general less convenient, until you figure out which parts of every site to allow, but I haven't seen most of these warnings, despite also having an adblocker

Theft and piracy are illegal. Adblockers are not. Neither is going fast forward through ads on my TV. Silly analogy fails to convince.

Anyway, why am I not getting these messages?

Using FF w/uBlock
Cache clears only when I close browser
I don't log into YouTube
I mainly use YouTube to watch old music videos and clips of old film/TV shows. Maybe a bit of Pokmon VGC and Hifi related stuff.

My goodness I really wish you lot would learn what piracy is.

Piracy is when you infringe on the copyright of existing material, i.e a movie or tv programme. For instance lets say I recorded a programme onto VHS or I rented a movie from a video rental place and then made copies of that programme/movie onto blank VHS tapes and then sold them that is piracy as I am selling bootleg copies of that programme/movie for my own personal gain and infringing on the copyright to not illegally sell or distribute that programme/movie.

Piracy IS NOT blocking ads on the internet or fast forwarding through them on your TiVo/Sky+ set top box.

In 1983 Universal took Sony and it's Betamax VCR to the supreme court because they were worried that home video recording was infringing on their copyrights and the supreme court ruled that home video recording was perfectly legal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Corp._of_America_v._Universal_City_Studios,_Inc.

Ad blocking is legal as it does not infringe on the copyrights of anything. Here: https://www.pipiads.com/blog/is-blocking-ads-illegal/

Please learn to tell the difference.

Never claimed otherwise. I don't think anyone has.

I can't watch Netflix or Disney+ with an adblocker, and I've never suggested that should be the case. YouTube is free to change its model any time it feels like it.

My only point is that adblocking is neither piracy nor theft.

Ad blocking is a violation of terms of service, but TOS often contain unenforceable terms.

In my mind, as long as I've got the bytes, they're mine. You can't write data to my device and then claim it's not mine. That's even ignoring the fact that I've actually already got those bytes (there's only 256 of them), and you are actually sending me a particular ordering of them. It's the same reason why claims that we were technically licensing music (not buying it) when we bought CDs were never taken seriously by anybody but entertainment lawyers.
