It's a shame how that game turned out. The story was great, but the gameplay suffered so much because of the games as a service bullshit. Hopefully this won't be the last time a developer takes on an avengers game.

Damn, I regret buying it for the amount I did lol.

I mostly enjoyed the single player story, but the live service aspects of the game really drowned out some of the appeal. I thought this game was worth the $15-ish I paid for it though. ... Copied to Clipboard!

In terms of unlockable alternate costumes I think Disney/Marvel had a large hand in it being shit if Midnight Suns is anything to go by. Both games have the majority of alternate costumes be a recolor of the base costume that kinda, sorta resembles the costume they're going for and charge money for the ones they actually put some effort towards resembling the actual costume. ... I picked it up just to go through its story once. I liked it when streamers were actively on this game but its action gameplay was a huge disappointment for me tbh. I believe other streamers felt the same and were forced to play through it until they made a good stopping point and said, enough - theres future updates planned and we are moving on...
