First match I went from... what the hell am I watching... to ...I kind of like it? and finally holy crap I love it! Maybe one day I'll finally watch MP100. DP's opening was great too, but it couldn't compete with the unadulterated chaos.

These One Piece offerings have gotten progressively worse so far. Flip Flap is so cute and catchy!

Really painful first match, Flyers is the better song but 99.9 definitely has my favorite animation of the MP100 OPs. Feeling Flyers a bit more today.

FLIP FLAP FLIP FLAP great ED for a show that sadly didn't live up to it. One Piece ED quite boring.

Excuse me who approved this nonsense? First match has by far two of the best openings in the entire contest when taking both song and animation into context imo. This is finals caliber and a travesty that this is a 1st round matchup. Flyers is the first song in my main anime song playlist so it will get the nod here but I will absolutely be voting the winner of this match next round and beyond probably.

I wish all the Mob Psycho OPs made it, but 99.9 is probably my favorite, and probably the pick to win my favorites bracket. I feel bad for Flyers, it was stellar, and kinda tempted me to watch Death Parade. If it wins, I don't see myself voting against it again.

99.9 is not my favorite Mob OP, but it's still quite good. Very cool visuals. Flyers is all right in isolation, but I really hate it in the context of the show. Having this loud upbeat OP for such a reflective, somber show is just idiotically dumb, and it's my least favorite entrant in the contest by a lot. Good riddance if this ends up losing to an even stronger entrant.

I actually have quite a soft spot for ED's like Memories. The combination of the gentle song and the simple visuals are just really good at letting me unwind after watching an intense episode. Unfortunately Flip Flap is one of my all time favorites. I like the song a lot, and the visuals are beautiful and intricate.

Well this was the match talked about the most when the bracket was revealed, and for good reason. Nothing generic about either of these OP's, it really is a shame one of them is losing in round 1. Of course I gotta give it to Mob, the amount of stuff they incorporate into the OP along with the song just being fantastic. Also extremely love the "Your Life Is Your Own" line focus, as it's one of the main themes of Mob Psycho 100 and life in general. Flyers is super fun too, love everyone dancing in it.

Memories is fine, shows the OG crew joining one by one standing next to Luffy. But I really like Flip Flap's little art panels, the art style is incredibly nice to look at. And the chorus of "Flip Flap Flip Flap" is very cute and endearing.

yeah this match 1 is like semifinals tier at minimum lol, Flyers is amazing but uhhhh 0:51 at the claw roulette to 1:14 in 99.9 is maybe my favorite part of any anime opening ever both in song and animation. like the rest of the song is also breathtakingly amazing in both ways as well but GOD that total shonen styled action sequence is so fucking COOL i love it. a lot. so i will vote for it okay thank you

memories is... fine! theres something about these "images appearing over background of slightly moving water" endings that's just kind of annoying honestly lol. it's definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel of the contest here. Flip Flap Flip Flap has better animation but the song is pretty much on par with memories, so.... hard call, but I think i'm gonna have to go FFFF. shocking contrast in match quality here and i almost feel like the loser of match 1 got robbed not getting to feed on one of the songs in match 2 instead lol

Hot take alert, but I don't like any of the Mob Psycho 100 OPs. Flyers, meanwhile, is one of the only two unequivocally good things to come out of Death Parade.

I actually think if it was not for the animation the first matchup would not even be close as I think the mob psycho ops are incredibly overrated.

Match 1 is very close. Both have aspects that I really like and others that aren't so great. The One Piece song is pretty weak, and Flip Flap is pretty nice, so that's a fairly easy vote.

99.9 is good, but it's the weakest of the Mob OPs in terms of song. Doesn't stand a chance against a beast like Flyers, which delivers in both departments, along with having animation and music that go together perfectly.

Memories is not the type of ED that should be in a contest where animation is a factor, haha. Flip Flap has a hypnotic quality to it where I quite frequently watched it when I watched the show.

Musically, Flyers and 99.9 were pretty close until the second half of Flyers kicked in. I like both the animations pretty equally.

Memories is the clear winner for me in match 2 based on the music, but I do like the animation for Flip Flap Flip Flap quite a bit. I still think Memories takes it here because the shot of Luffy and his friends staring out into the ocean in the sunset is pretty nice too.
