Just walk it off.

In typical CE fashion, just have a really shitty hot take, like tell everyone getting in shape isn't hard and to just not be fat.

Stop letting food producers but all that crap that they do in our foods.

Speaking of which, yes, build more walkable public areas rather than having freeways and stroads everywhere that require you need a car to get anywhere.

-Tax revenue and profits of junk food more.

-Tax revenue the more sugary/sweetened your food is especially if its not a confectionary/candy.

-On top of those even more taxes on said companies(and their Leadership personally) if obesity, diabetes, healthcare costs and other health issues are above certain levels.

-Put legal caps on maximum added sugar(both per serving and per ounce) on prepackaged items. Other limits on fast food and the like.

-Subsidize vegetables and setup programs to incentivize and aid convenience stores in carrying both fresh and frozen fruits/veggies

-Improve education on health, sleep, exercise and diet. Make sure that exercise is made to be important but emphasise that diet is more important and sleep is critical.

-Include cooking in public education with a focus on dishes using fruits/veggies and less sugar.

-Improve school food programs to be healthier and make tasty food using vegetables and other healthful ingredients.

-Classify giving soda to children regularly as child abuse.

-SNAP cannot be used to purchase soda. Extra SNAP benifits on top of existing benifits that can only be used on fruits and vegetables

And reduce serving sizes, which will simultaneously lower food wastage.

Rework zoning laws so that it's possible to actually go places on foot or via bike, rather than always needing to use a car or bus.

Healthier food options and less suger or processed products would be the obvious ansew. But not without increasing its prices likely.

Fast food thoufh should either cap their meal sizes to small and or raise priced. Cus as they are now their just to cheap and accessible.

Ban added sugars to anything except confections.

The most feasible thing to do is to lower sugar consumption. Less snacking and smaller portions. Then we can get into exercise.

But any change done through congress would probably be met with heavy opposition from lobbyists.

Without increasing price. Any CEO caught complaining about making 0.0000000005% less the following quarter is issued a warning, and further complaining equals jail time.

Mandate prominent labeling (not just the tiny print on the back of the box) for foods to disclose the sugar content, including on restaurant menus.

Work on making cities more walkable and adding more parks and greenways where possible. Expand bike sharing programs and make sure there are places where people can bicycle safely.

Address remaining food deserts where fresh foods are hard to get and/or more expensive than processed foods.

Policies aimed at increasing worker pay and reducing the hours Americans are working should help with obesity like it would with a lot of things. When people are working long hours and don't have a lot of money to spend on meals it should be no wonder they often prioritize what's quick and cheap rather than what's going to be best for their health.

In addition, it was noted that in some cases consumers preferred products with a higher number of labels against unlabeled products.

I'd also force mandates so company's can't false advertise their products as healthy anymore. When it's the same overly sugerly and processed junk as almost everything else.
