I kept all mine. I actually had every single one but like 10 of those were ebay purchases for stupid inflated prices. They aren't really sell-able anymore though because I played with them so much the joints are all worn

To be fair, for a lot of kids of the younger generations today, video games are their toys. Or, at least, have completely replaced them.

I know my friends' kids barely played with toys at all once they figured out how tablets worked.

When their generation grows up, if you ask them 30 years from now what their favorite toys were when they were kids, they're probably going to tell you they don't remember ever playing with any.

turtles, hotwheels and lego. didn't get hand me down vidya until much later, but the famicom clone kind croaked after a year or so. it was already well used. and then there were also years where our TV broke and my parents didn't care enough to buy a new one.
