So the Weekend Missions early cut-off was unintentional they claim, and everyones getting an extra 200 Credits as compensation

I wanted lady deathstrike so i spent my 3 lootboxes

At least a week is enough time to earn another Spotlight Cache

But yeah thats rough. I have 3 right now and Ive decided to save them all for next week to get X23/Nebula/Silk and then hopefully also get every card 2 weeks after that during the Jeff/Knull/GhostSpider week, since I dont have any of those 6.

But now what do I do with my 3000 Tokens? Just buy Stature or Legion? Maybe save up for one of next seasons cards? Ill sit on it

Lady Deathstrike seems such shit but I want to try to make her work. Use Phoenix Force, Okoye, Nokia, Shuri.

It just feels like a lot of effort though.

If I get her it'll be with 6000 tokens though. I like the Stature variant but the modok variant is junk

Best idea Ive seen is Cerebro 3 where she can naturally come out as 7 power while not sacrificing the rest of your turns just to set her up

I bet she gets buffed to a 4/3 at some point though

Then shes basically a viable alternative to any Killmonger situation

Another idea: boost her once with Nakia, Turn 5 Valkyrie, Turn 6 Deathstrike

Just did my spotlights to try and get Deathstrike, got Echo and the Stature variant.

Haven't played in a while but I found this interesting. A lot of these make sense though.

Interesting to see Mantis there I feel she's actually a pretty decent 1 drop. The others all make sense to me. They're niche or bad.

I wouldn't use her in any deck before like five other 1 drops so that checks out

Most decks with quinjet that can feasibly empty their hand can get good use out of her.

Generally speaking I think she's better than cable in most decks.

Not that cable is a super high bar or anything. Probably just a symptom of the top end 1s being a bit too good more than anything. Give her a +1 power guardians ambush too maybe she's more appealing I dunno.

I will say with Hawkeye now at +3 rocket seems poor now. It's probably a logjam of a bunch of 1s down there.

Mantis needs to give you a copy of a card in their hand no matter whether you nail where they play or not.

There was a Daken Discard deck last week that was trying to make StrongGuy work, lol

The card most being slept on in that batch is probably Crossbones? Hes great in a Zabu deck IMO

I really want to like Quake but lol

Merge Yondu's effect with Mantis. She destroys the next card, but steals it if the opponent plays on her lane.

Makes her stronger in general, but actually hurts the Yondu effect in destroy decks.

Then give Yondu a different effect altogether.

Make yondu 2/2 and he destroys all spawned cards on reveal (broodling, sinister, the void, mysterio clones, tiger demon, any cards created by location effects). Sounds maybe not great but interesting enough

Anti-token card is kinda interesting

Anti token card is actually way better in theme for Yondu than his current effect

The wording could also be "cards that were not played" so you could wreck Hela decks and such

On Reveal: Destroy all cards that were not played from the hand.

Ravonna is interesting with a few cards like Iron Man, Mystique, and Zola. You could Iron Man on 4 and Zola on 5,

Quick thoughts:
Forge will see a huge rise in play.
Crystal will become essential for Surfer decks.
This is practically a nerf to Shanna

These Surfer buffs are getting out of hand. That card is probably going to need another change at some point.

Forge buff makes no sense to me at all.

So what youre saying is I should throw Forge and possibly even Shanna and Crystal into a Surfer deck? Who would I replace?

Forge buff is a little weird but 2/3 is normal stats for a 2 drop. Forge putting normal stats on the board with the disadvantage of having to use 2 board slots was a weak effect on paper I guess.

Obviously you can synergize with his effect but Snap devs seem to balance cards in a vacuum, otherwise they wouldn't print so many good cards with (pointless) downsides.

3 costs are by far the most fun and versatile in this game so I understand them leaning towards those cards. 4 costs feel very weak in general.

I don't really see Shanna as a great Surfer add because she fills with cards that get no buff. Crystal though sure.

adding Forge to your Surfer deck to buff either Brood or Daken could be strong

The current Surfer deck Id been using is this. What would you guys suggest replacing? Dont say Zabu as a replacement since I dont have Zabu.

KM is just there to hit Nova and Rhino is basically just there in case bad location.

Zabu would be awful in that deck, you only have one 4 cost lol.

Cut Nakia, Rhino, and maybe Spider-Man for Crystal, Forge, and Juggernaut imo.

Actually I'd cut Absorbing Man too, maybe instead of Spider-Man.

Juggernaut can be unbeatable on turn 6 sometimes.

I pretty much always run Storm over Rhino because Storm + Brood/Maximus/Juggernaut is almost a certain win. Considering you are already running 2 of those 3, I don't see the benefit of Rhino.

I've been running a similar deck since yesterday and I'm starting to think Magik is the odd one out - if you pull off the Brood/Absorbing Man combo, you won't have any space for turn 7.

Use Storm instead of Rhino imo, between Brood and Surfer youve got a good chance of winning the Flooded. And Polaris and Spider-Man can pull something out of the opponents side of Flooded if need be.

True. I just constantly see Zabu so I guess I just assume hell be recommended anyways. I mean I DO have Wong, but probably better off just keeping Absorbing Man in this. Hes fun copying Brood or even just copying Surfer for extra boosts if I dont draw Brood.

Wow they really didnt want anyone to have any real time to try to earn any gold for anime Spider-Man and Black Widow bundle huh. With gold destroyed this badly I basically wont be able to afford any kind of bundle I would care about as a free player for uh quite a while

nice. still not sure how i feel about upgrading inked cards still (unless I want a gold background of course)

I wish there was a way to upgrade inked cards to get the frame break and 3D effects, but leaving the white border.

Its very high on the list of desired changes by fans and content creators.
