Ive had this bug with every new card since Spider-Ham I think. Im not positive about this, but my guess is it only counts a new card as Seen in ranked only otherwise it will continue to pop up as new.

Ive had a Kitty bug happen a few times where she returns to my hand and a speech bubble with I cant! pops up repeatedly. Shes the only one that this has happened with.

i think i saw an update somewhere that said they were going to implement stuff like this in the future? But weird that i was seeing the bug as early as 2-3 months ago

Ive seen that before too, but cant recall what it was about. I kinda want to make a move deck now that Ive got the Spider people for it, but Im not sure what all I want to use in it. Im lacking Jeff to throw into it too, but hopefully I can get him next week.

Decide to open one spotlight because I wanted the Kitty variant and figured Ive had the first one I open be a duplicate 100% of the time.

Ive yet to see Silver Samurai and Ive played a lot of Conquest today.

I tried to make him work in a stupid deck with Wong, Moon Knight, Samurai, and Black Bolt to discard everything in my opponent's hand.

But the discard effects just take too long to get going, if everything were 1 energy cheaper I think it would be fun.

Daken into Samurai is 13 power from turns 3 and 4 (and unlocking Stature on turn 5 or 6 of course)

It's pretty solid

Infinity Split for my Kitty wedding variant. Wow they gotta change the cards losing their cool/nice backgrounds when you do this.

Those are certainly some changes... Gotta lol at reverting Doom. And I don't get the Legion change. Was his power really an issue? And very odd choice for Rockslide as well. Guess I needa go read their explanations.

In hindsight, the timing for our previous nerf to Doctor Doom wasn't ideal. While he was dominating, we had Spider-Ham coming with an elbow from the top rope and Move decks were on the rise, so his stock was already going to dip. In the weeks since, the metagame has shifted further, with Professor X becoming a lockdown favorite once again and Captain Marvel challenging locations left and right. We're confident Doom deserves at least a return to his former glory in order to compete.

Captain Marvel

Moving Carol from 5/6 to 4/5 shook some things up, and the change wound up coming in a little hotter than we'd hoped for. For the last week, Captain Marvel has been one of the best-performing cards in our two best-performing decks, traditional ZabuHawk and the new Angela/Kraven-based Move deck. Speaking of coming in hot! We were worried players might underestimate Legion, so we gave him a late internal buff from 5/7 to 5/8 for extra oomph to ensure he put on a show for everyone. Seems kind of silly now though, doesn't it? Legion has consistently appeared in a variety of strong decks and been one of our top performing cards for a few weeks. That's been fun, and he's added fresh dynamics to existing matchups that were truly unique. However, he also disrupts some of the diversity we rely upon location variance to create within the metagame, so we're going to take that extra edge off.

Rockslide

Here we go againwe know, we know, Darkhawk's the star here. While he's out front signing autographs, Rockslide's loading the van with . . . Rocks. It's not a perfect metaphor, but somebody has to do the dirty work! However, this isn't just a small nerf to the Zabu-Darkhawk deck, though that is its primary purpose. We're trying to keep Power focused in Darkhawk if possible, as he's the appealing build-around element. We're curious to explore what the world looks like where we can reduce Darkhawk's reliance on Zabu, since it prevents both cards from appearing in a wider range of archetypes when the combination is so strong. Slotting Rockslide between Korg/Black Widow and Darkhawk might help that happenit also might not. Maybe this goal is even doomed. Let's take a step toward finding out.

Lady Deathstrike

While we were willing to take a chance missing too high on Legion, the same wasn't true of Lady Deathstrike. The difference is starkif Legion is in the best deck, games might be a little wacky, but if Lady Deathstrike is in the best deck, games might be super frustrating. However, we did want her to land on solid ground, and it's become clear that she could use a little help. We're going to try this buff on for size, and if it doesn't work out we'll evaluate a more significant change.

We know this is a bit of a "nerf week" relative to the excitement of some recent OTA patches, but these kinds of adjustments are just as necessary. September will unleash some dangerous cards and enchanting variants, so we're lowkey seeking some calm before that particular nexus event. Too soon? It still feels too soon

So they're saying the Zabu+Darkhawk+Rock Slide synergy is too strong and it's preventing the cards from being used in other decks.

So to fix that issue they basically give Rock Slide the Zabu buff permanently?

I guess Darkhawk could sub out Zabu for something else now but that's not going to increase the amount of play that Zabu sees in other decks lol.

Seems like its more that they want Darkhawk decks to be less rigid and to allow for more experimentation

They never do that for the Shuri/Sauron deck though! Like 10 of the cards in that deck are mandatory there

A tech card with less than 5 power is probably more useful than Omega Red. Deathlok is kinda iffy too. Luke Cage helps with negative locations and also prevents Lizards Ongoing from taking effect.

Iron Man could help with games where you dont draw Cerebro and doesnt interfere in games where you do, and also makes Omega Red a little more viable if you insist on using him

I was already considering LC due how sensitive Cerebro decks are to hits to their power. I was also considering Absorbing Man to double up my Enchantress to be honest.

Deathlok is there more to deal with Goblins/things that flood my side of the board.

cute idea i saw on stream earlier was Wave -> Doctor Doom -> Absorbing Man for more Doombots

also can be wave on 5 into doom if your opponent is playing a deck that is gonna spam out cards on 6 of course

Wave can def fit into any deck now since her tech value has shot way up to block the current card spam meta
