What were your memories of using it?

This wont get any response since nobody clicks on anything called Internet Explorer anymore.

I remember when IE transformed into Sailor Moon for some reason. That still is the damnist thing. And what is worse is the animation is better than what we see today on real show.

I had no particular complaints about it. Sure, it would be feature-lacking nowadays, but I had far fewer outright issues with it than I did with, say, Safari on all the Mac computers there would usually be at school -- at least back in that time period. (Maybe Safari isn't as bad nowadays, idk.)

yes I am visiting a HTTPS site, as all sites should be
why do you need to popup saying that I am visiting a secure site, which should be the default state of a website

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

It could be nostalgia, but I don't recall Netscape being terrible to use.

On topic, Internet Explorer fractured the internet, and until rather recently there were websites that would only work with IE. That's part of the reason it took so long for Microsoft to kill it off.

CSS's box-sizing property exists entirely because of IE, and box-sizing:border-box is one of the very few things IE got right.

There was a time where I preferred IE to Firefox, mostly due to IE being faster and having a more familiar UI. That did change eventually though.

LOL all the pop-ups that said "WAIT! Give us a try first! We're good now! Promise!" were pretty funny >_> IE was only good for downloading browsers and for 1% of webpages that didn't work on Firefox for some reason, like college portals and such.

It was basically the only thing I knew until 2005 when GameFAQs taught me about Firefox. Been on Firefox (and for a brief while Pale Moon) ever since.

Same. I got convinced to download Firefox 2.0 when it released and I haven't looked back since >_>

I kinda miss when every new version of Firefox was a once in a few years event. Now they pop out a new version every couple of weeks >_>

Yup, started with version 2.0 as well! I remember when the differences between version numbers was pretty big lol. Then after a while, they just started coming out left and right.

Yeah, it wasn't as special anymore. I remember people hated the redesign for v4 I think lol.

A programming class where i must draw a 3D room and objects inside it, and the teacher insist we must display it in IE.

It's been almost 20 years, i don't even remember how i make it.
