Idk why the mods haven't permanently banned them yet I haven't used the ignore or block function on this website but I'd be lying if I said I never considered it for AceMos. Yes, he overwrites things, but people need to understand that it's not out of malice. First of all, the person that gets their reality altered actually wished it themselves. 2nd the point is to showcase the parallels between what the Phantom Thieves were doing versus what Maruki is doing. The Phantom Thieves are actually doing something similar to Maruki, just on a smaller scale. They see someone that needs their cognition changed, and then they "steal" their heart to force change within them that NEVER would have happened so easily to make a reality where everyone's lives are happier as a result of the person being "defeated." What Maruki is doing is actually a more effective version than what they were doing on the account that it doesn't just affect the person that had their heart stolen, but rather everyone else around. To the people talking about the addict and his girlfriend. You're still not understanding what happened here. Maruki would be changing everyone to cause the least amount of "problems" (though this is actually impossible). IE, the lady probably likes her boyfriend (obviously) outside of the fact that he's a gambling addict, and the man likes his girlfriend but wishes she didn't hate on the fact that he gambles (as in he doesn't see the addiction as a problem). So Maruki takes the path of least resistance and simply makes the lady not dislike the gambling because now she can enjoy her boyfriend for everything. People being able to see the flaws of Maruki's solution is intentional, because it shows the types of problems his full on reality would be running into. Where people suddenly don't care about things that they once did. It's showcasing why he's a human and couldn't possibly fix everyone's problems in the world, no matter how much he'd like to.
